Abstract
Urban Regeneration is the one of Restoration function that imports to four dimensions of Form, Economy, Society and Ecosystem. Environment Quality is the one of objects of Urban regeneration. On the other hands lack of peoplechr('39')s interest to live and spending leisure time, the quality of city center decreases and it is more important to increase quality of city center. Environment quality is general subject and, in this study, we use creative model place for describing quality factors of environment. Golkar`s model “sustainable place” which comes from Canter`s Model “Place” is the one of most complete models for assessing the qualities of environment; It imports to four dimensions of form, activities, imaginations and ecosystem after that eventually we can obtain the Conceptual Framework of central part of Urban regeneration based on Environmental Quality. By means of content technique, various ideas and views about environment qualities from global theorists, Experiences of regenerating city center and national restoration document were collected then calculate average of them for selecting most important of them. Finally define Measures for all these important qualities to draw Conceptual Framework. The result show that legibility and Visual character are the most import qualities of empirical-aesthetic factor, Permeability and Socio petal space and Quality of public area and Vitality are the most import qualities of functional factor and Compatibility with nature is the most important quality of ecological factor. These 7 qualities which are among the most important qualities must be considered in regeneration of city centers.

Abstract

Nowadays almost all big cities are confronting heavy traffic and suffering from lack of parking lots which leads in traffic jam. According to the significant role of vertical parking in reducing the traffic load and smoothing the traffic current; this study was carried out with the purpose of presenting a decision support system for vertical parking site selection for mechanical and constructive parking lots by using Fuzzy-DANP method. Each criterion’s correspondent GIS data was acquired from Tehran Municipality for district no.3, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 17 which were chosen according to the corresponding mayors’ opinions of those districts and converted into its specific layer. Each criterion’s weigh was exerted to its determined GIS layer and eventually all those layers were integrated with each other. The final map of GIS output demonstrated a spectrum which determined the most appropriate to inappropriate locations to establish a parking of each type. The final results were shown within a user interface, including the GIS map and the estimated location of the chosen district and parking type. The overall steps mentioned above are forming the DSS of the study. The results showed that setting up mechanical parking in districts no. 3, 6 and 7 is proper. For building constructive parking; all districts are appropriate.

Abstract

Temporary resettlement of the population after the earthquake is considered as a pivotal element of crisis management. The selection of suitable centers for the establishment of citizens can have a significant role in rescue and rescue services after the earthquake. The purpose of this study was to identify potential spots for the construction of shelters and temporary accommodation of the population during the occurrence of a possible earthquake. This research is applied in terms of its purpose. The method of study is descriptive-analytical and documentary. Firstly, using the Delphi method, 16 main and effective criteria for locating these centers were identified in the framework of six clusters including access to the communication network, natural features, spatial characteristics, consistent uses, risk management and demographic performance. Then, using the experts' opinions and the network analysis process, the final weight of each criterion was determined. The most important parameters in this research are population density indexes, grade 1 arterial pathways, and suitable area. Finally, by combining the layers of all indicators, a map of the temporary population settlements was prepared in Sabzevar city. The results of the research show that the lack of suitable spaces, including parks and open spaces for temporary accommodation of citizens in Sabzevar city, is quite evident. At the same time, the points of the city, which have adequate open spaces and are compatible with the surrounding land uses, have a relatively better potential for deployment. Accordingly, the best places for temporary accommodation of the population after the earthquake in Sabzevar, including the Eram Park in the north, Imam Reza Park and the Football Stadium in Southeastern City, Shahr-e Basi, National Park and Shariati Conservatory in the city center, tourist hostel, Green spaces and sports grounds in the west, and finally technical and vocational schools in the city of Tohid. In order to improve the conditions in the aftermath of the earthquake, some suggestions are presented in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to assess the land surface temperature in relation to landuse for the city of Tabriz using remote sensing technology and GIS. Landsat 8 satellite image was used to map the land surface temperature for the study area. Atmospheric correction was applied to the desired image using the FLAASH method and the land surface temperature was estimated using the split-window algorithm for the study area with an accuracy of 1.51 degrees. Landuse map of Tabriz city in 6 classes was obtained using the object-based approach in eCognition software with an accuracy of 90/03. The results of studying the relationship between land surface temperature and landuse indicate that agricultural lands with a temperature of 18.22 °C have the highest land surface temperature. Also, water areas (rivers) have the lowest (10.30 °C) land surface temperature, because of their radiant power close to one. The research results also indicate that the split-window algorithm provides reliable results for land surface temperature estimation that can be used in environmental studies and earth sciences.

Abstract

The advancement of tourism in any region necessitates a thorough understanding of the area's potential, alongside the provision of requisite facilities and services for tourists. Effective planning at all levels is essential to realize successful tourism development. This research investigates the challenges associated with service provision and ranks tourist destinations based on their tourism potential in Zanjan Province, Iran. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative techniques, with data gathered through interviews and questionnaires. Interview data were analyzed utilizing MaxQDA software, while the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to evaluate criteria, and geographic modeling was employed to assess the spatial distribution of tourist destinations. The findings indicate that Zanjan Province, despite its considerable tourism potential, contends with multiple challenges, including inadequate facilities, inconsistent policies aimed at enhancing tourism services, and insufficient management and planning for tourism development. These challenges have impeded the province's progress in the tourism sector. Two primary concerns identified are the overall low level of services and the lack of coherence in planning and perspectives regarding tourism development. Nonetheless, the geographical distribution analysis identifies several high-potential tourist destinations, including Soltanieh Dome, Gen Chimneys, Angoran Mine, Oljaito Ecotourism Resort, Soltanieh Ecotourism Resort, Boutique Hotel, Zulfaqari Mansion, El Daghi, Seyed Mohammad Bridge, Zanjan Jame Mosque, Khedevi House, and the Colorful Mountains. These destinations, classified within the first cluster, are distinguished by their high tourism potential and accessibility, attributed to their unique features and proximity to populated areas. Consequently, they warrant prioritization in service planning and development initiatives. In conclusion, while Zanjan Province possesses substantial tourism potential, it is imperative to address systemic issues such as inadequate facilities, inconsistent policies, and poor management to foster sustainable tourism growth. Prioritizing high-potential destinations can establish a foundation for targeted development, enabling the province to enhance its tourism services, attract a greater number of visitors, and achieve long-term success within the tourism sector.
