Abstract

Agricultural sector has an important role in development of countries. One of the obstacles to development in this sector, especially in Iran is significant fragmentation of agricultural lands. The aim of this study is to assess the farmers’ willingness to participate in land consolidation project using structural equation modeling. The population of this study consists of all farmers of Meymeh County and its surrounding cities and villages and Niloofar-Abi cooperative of Vazvan city. Data were collected on a sample of 156 farmers through face-to-face interviews based on a comprehensive structured questionnaire. Before the survey, the reliability and validity of questionnaire was initially evaluated on a pre-test study respectively by using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, expert’s judgment and Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) criteria. The results of this study show that the most important factors on farmers' willingness to participation are crop acreage and number of plots which respectively has the greatest positive and negative effect. The awareness of the farmers about benefit of consolidation project is another factor which has significant and positive impact on farmers' willingness. Furthermore, level of farmers schooling has no significant effect.

Abstract

Groundwater as a most important natural resources of Iran needs to planning and management of all aspects. In this regard, a study done of the Shaharchay river basin in the west of the Urmia Lake and the northern structural, sedimentary zone of Sanandaj - Sirjan. The aim of the study is to identify areas where the water table is higher in groundwater. To achieve this, an interpolation of (IDW) water level underground of Shaharchay by using the data of piezometeric well, then matching results with the position of faults and available tectonic seismic data. fractures were checked and the role of basin natural characteristics such as slope, lithology, soil type, ages of Geological, precipitation and landuse on groundwater level fluctuations were checked as well. Investigations show 4 different patterns of movement of groundwater in the basin area. Except of fault, other criteria alone are not much of a water table. The results show that the the western part of the water table is located in a very low of ​​zoning , which has very high mountains with high slopes, high rainfall, no fracture Quaternary and pasture. Eastern part of the basin is located in the area of ​​medium and high underground water level only a part of the shores of Urmia Lake in this zoning has a very high water table. With very little gradient, local average precipitation, high permeability, active Quaternary faults, the garden and the city landuse. But the center of the basin zoning was very high with very low permeability, high slope, average precipitation and mixture of garden, forest and grassland usages. basin center located on high seismic intensity zone and density Quaternary faults. only because of the high level in the basin center of Silvaneh are active faults and a high intensity tectonic seismic.

Abstract

Information on a variation of impervious surface is useful for understanding urbanization and its impacts on the hydrological cycle, water management, surface energy balances, urban heat island, and biodiversity. This research attempts to detect impervious surfaces and its changes by satellite imagery in Qaemshahr. The relationship between impervious surfaces and changes in land surface temperature in the city was investigated. For this purpose, after obtaining three images in 1978, 2000, and 2017, and performing the necessary preprocessing, the reflection values of the infrared spectrum and ground surface temperature in the study area were calculated. The reflectance of this spectrum was investigated in various land uses vegetation, asphalt and building areas in two parts of the urban and the suburb.  Using the results of ANOVA and Tukey these properties compared to different land uses. By the difference between Permeable surfaces and impervious surfaces, the impervious surface index was calculated. The results of the detection and comparison of the three surveyed images showed that the impervious surfaces in Qaemshahr were significantly increased from 1978 to 2017. In the next step, by calculating the land surface temperature, it was determined that the temperature of the impervious surfaces is higher than the other parts of the study area. An increase in the population of the city followed by an increase in urban construction has led to an increase in impervious surfaces and a reduction in green space and this has caused a rise in city temperatures. The results of this study showed that increasing impervious surfaces has led to an increase of around 4 degrees in the city's temperature. Finally, any increase in the impervious surface at the city will lead to unsustainability in the urban environment, if not accompanied by proper planning.

Abstract

The growth and expansion of the dispersed development pattern is one of the ways of settlement development that is shaped by a variety of factors, including urban management policies and approaches. Examine how the development of Tehran's metropolitan area has evolved over the last fifty years and what effective urban management policies and approaches have been and how it has influenced city development. This article deals with it. This research has been used because of the importance of the topic in a descriptive-analytical and practical purpose, based on library and documentary studies and in some cases field observations. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, three types of measurement models were used depending on the subject and variables of the study. In this regard, physical continuity in Tehran urban complex through Shannon entropy model, functional continuity through network analysis model (investigation of habitat and flow points and distribution and land use composition) and poor urban slope growth using Helder model The measurement is located. The findings show that: 1) dispersal phenomena have occurred in Tehran metropolitan area (Helderen and Shannon entropy model), 2) Tehran metropolitan area has been experiencing functional divergence (network analysis) and user distribution The services and services at the Tehran metropolitan level have not been uniform and balanced; and 3) the policies and approaches of urban management in successive years have had wide-ranging effects on spatial dispersal and unbalanced spatial development. Abstract

The Earth and how it is used have always been the main things in city planning. The analysis and the special and local arrangement of urban use and urban functions are among the important and effective branches of permanent urban development. This paper attempts to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively the city structure of Ardabil with regard to its permanent development. Since it is descriptive and analytic in approach, the three features of capacity, suitability, and social justice in permanent development have been applied. In the first phase, the quantitative analysis of the existing urban use and the capacity analysis were done. The second phase dealt with the qualitative analysis of its suitability using suitability matrix and the analysis of social justice with the closest neighbor model and SWOT model. The quantitative and qualitative results show that most urban uses are deficient. Also, the highest unsuitability was in working use and then in official, residential, and educational use. This shows the imbalanced and discordant situation between urban uses that arise from carelessness of city planners.
