Abstract

Land surveying to increase crop production and productivity is nowadays considered as one of the alternative approaches in agricultural development and the need to address this issue especially in rural areas where their income is highly dependent on agriculture is of great importance. Is high. Agricultural development is one of the priorities of agricultural planning and requires such development to identify the effective factors that govern it. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and evaluate the environmental capabilities of olive cultivation in Tarom city and to analyze the location of its producing rural areas. Hence, from altitude, slope and slope status as terrestrial parameters and three climate parameters as relative rainfall, temperature and relative humidity data from 11 meteorological, synoptic and rain gauge stations with appropriate statistical period (1375-1395) and A common time base was used for climatic zoning. The results showed that Tarom city is in good condition for olive cultivation, 21.2% of the total area of the study area is suitable for olive cultivation, most of which is located in the middle districts of the city. Located in olive-growing lands, these areas produce 74.8 percent of the olive in Tarom, due to its olive-growing potential.

Abstract

International rivers, as borders or crossing national borders, have been considered as a significant part of international relations. Especially, approximately half of the world's population lives within the basin of these rivers, and more than 90% are living in countries with these basins. This condition, by creating an undeniable relationship of interdependence, has made water a critical issue for these countries. Thus, as populations and economies grow and develop and national water resources are exploited for additional growth and development, government action and reaction to a higher share of these transnational sources will increase. By the way, the type of government interaction in line with exploiting these common resources includes a wide range of cooperation to tension and war. In some parts of the world, common water resources in the form of rivers have used as a linking factor between nations and governments. So that, instead of conflict, the beneficiary countries take the path of cooperation and convergence and they have taken important steps with regard to the development of the region as optimal management of common water resources. Although the achievement of international cooperation is a long, lengthy and complex path, always, there are many ways to follow, many steps to take, and many options for appraisal and selection. The current research is a descriptive-analytical research and by means of library resources and examining the practical status of cooperation in a part of the Danube River as a model, concluded that cooperation was not just for water agreements and factors such as environmental concerns, regional security, regional benefits (such as joining organizations and ::union::s), mediation (governments, international organizations, and institutions), etc., are effective in this process.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to use granulometric analyzes in desertification studies in Gonabad city,  To achieve this goal, after the preparation of geomorphological maps of the region, 14 sediment samples were taken from the erosion-sensitive facies of the region. In the laboratory, a series of sieve with a diameter of 2000, 1000, 500, 250, and 64 micrometers, and a container Gatherings of sediment smaller than 64 μm were screened. The results showed that the highest frequency of particle diameter in sand samples was in the 250-225 micron class. And, given the average particle relationship with their transport intervals, it can be concluded that the distance between the particles was close to a point. Variants of different samples varied from 1.502 to 1.319. The most prevalent plots of ridge and the smallest slopes with low slope were the highest. In surveys in the skidding section, precipitates were mostly positive tilted, indicating the prevalence of fine particles in the region.

Abstract

The emergence of a variety of inequalities, widespread poverty, malnutrition and ... were examples of the effects of urbanization. For this reason, many scholars and experts have focused on the quality of life, in order to improve living conditions and improve the quality of life of human beings. Many studies show that satisfaction with different dimensions and characteristics of the neighborhood affects residents' quality of life. Considering that satisfaction with life, i.e., the full satisfaction of all parts of life, if this kind of satisfaction does not develop among residents, more serious problems such as intra-urban migration, severe class contradictions and the problem of uplifting and down-town faces Accepts. Therefore, identifying the effective factors on residential satisfaction in each neighborhood, which is in accordance with the needs of the residents of that neighborhood, is one of the main goals of urban planners in order to increase residential satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of location and quality of environment on improving citizens' satisfaction from neighborhoods. The research method was descriptive-analytic, data collection method, library and survey, sample size was estimated 315 by Cochran formula. In order to test the hypotheses presented in this study, structural equation modeling was used in Lisrel software environment. The results of this study indicate that spatial sense of belonging and quality of environment have a significant effect on residents' satisfaction with the neighborhood.

Abstract

The study of the roles and functions of cities and their developments is an important question in modern geographic studies. The unbalanced spatial distribution of populations, irregular migration to metropolises and imbalances in the distribution of economic opportunities between regions have led to focus on the idea of medium-sized cities as one of the most effective approaches to planning of the territory. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to study the performance of the city of Nasimshahr as an intermediary city in the spatial development structure of Tehran province. The research method is "descriptive-analytical" and the data collection method is based on both library and field methods. Quantitative methods and models have been used to study the role of the city. Economic models show that the city's share of industrial employment is above average in terms of industrial employment. The structural change index shows that the changes in Nasimshahr were greater than those in Tehran province. The results of the share change model show that the service sector has grown faster than the province. Considering the spatial structure, whatever the role of the city, the spatial imbalance in the urban network of the province is obvious. Demographic models show that Nasimshahr has great elasticity to attract the overwhelming population of the province. Therefore, given its strengths and possibilities, it can play a key role in regional leveling as a service and industrial center in the southwest of the province.

Abstract

Studying the morphology of the rivers and identifying the causes of these changes are widely useful in determining the evolution of rivers and planning the maintenance of the river system. The Karun River, between Bandar-e-Khoramshahr and the constant flow of water in the country, plays an important role in the country's water cycle. Due to the morphological changes of this river that have disrupted the normal functioning of the river, it is necessary to investigate the morphological changes and its causes. In this study, with the aim of investigating these changes with satellite imagery, Landsat images for 1990, 2005 and 2018 were prepared and morphological changes were extracted after required processing. The results show that out of the 36 investigated sections, the width of the river has decreased in 29 sections so that it has narrowed to 450 m around Ahwaz. In order to investigate the causes of changes, the effective parameters in changes such as precipitation, discharge, runoff coefficient, waterway length, permeability coefficient, landform, lithology, land use change, wasteland, slope percentage, drainage density and vegetation density, land Theology and floodplains, To assess the hazards of the area, were used. Floodplain parameter was extracted using ANP_Fuzzy model and landslide and land use parameters were extracted using SVM model. Among the factors affecting these changes that were investigated using logistic regression models and factor analysis were land use changes, vegetation density and sediment yield. These changes have resulted in the destruction of natural habitats along the river, the ability to self-purify water, sudden floods, threatening and damaging human structures, agriculture, and so on.

Abstract

Before the modern era, cities were built on a scale that did not change the environmental balance significantly. With the expansion of population and the expansion of cities and the conversion of settlements into big cities and metropolises, new conditions have emerged which show that cities today make their own climates. The new climates created in these areas are completely different from their predecessors. In this study, we try to use urban and architectural solutions in the Saadat Abad area of Tehran to reduce energy consumption. Urban and architectural variables including street and sidewalk width, green space and trees, materials, dimensions and directions for openings and energy entry paths, roof, wall width, porch, passive heating control (canopies, curtains and systems) Pore controls). So first, we examined the climate and climate of Tehran and Saadat Abad. Then, model the current status of Saadat Abad using simulated software to evaluate ambient and building temperature. The results of the study showed that improvement of outdoor thermal conditions and bio-closure of residential buildings. Reduction of direct and indirect thermal energy loss through exterior shell of buildings. Upgrading of the exterior shell climatic design knowledge of the building on the southern flank of central Alborz mountain range of Tehran.

Abstract

This study was aimed at identification and determination the spatial variations of sediment yield in Qarasu watershed located in Ardebil province, NW Iran, considering the negative consequences of erosion and sediment yield. In this regard, the monthly time scale, as the basis of work, was used to prepare the sediment rating curves. Preparation of monthly sediment rating curves based on sample flow and corresponding sediment discharge data in 19 hydrometry stations at the watershed during 14 years (2002-2015). All of statistical analyses were done by SPSS statistical software. Also, presentation of spatial variations in sediment yield over the watershed were made possible through the capability of GIS. The results of regression relations between flow and sediment discharge showed a close and significant relationship on a monthly time scale. The regional generalization of these relations for the whole basin showed that the seasonal difference was evident and the highest and lowest coefficient of determination was allocated to May (R2 = 0.74) and August (R2 = 0.55), respectively. Also, the highest and lowest sediment transport was observed in spring and summer, respectively, indicating the type of rainfall-runoff regime dominated on Qarasu watershed. In terms of the annual sediment yield, Yamchi station with 3970 tons per year and Nanakaran station with 66 tons per year, have the highest and lowest sediment yield among 19 stations of Qarasu watershed, respectively. According to the high levels of sediment yield in the Balikhly and Khyav sub-watersheds, it was recommended that more attention be paid to protecting and strengthening the water and soil elements and reducing the driven forces of erosion and sediment production in these sub-watersheds.

Abstract

During the rainfall, the intensity of precipitation varies. Changes in the amount of precipitation during an event of rainfall are effective in the resulting of flood and its intensity. Knowledge of how rainfall changes over time during rainfall is determined by temporal distribution pattern of rainfall. For this purpose, availability of short-term time scales rainfalls data are important that obtained by rain gauge stations. However, the low density of the rain gauge network and the lack of sufficient data from the time pattern of rainfall have always been a problem in determining storm patterns for executive plans. Therefore, the simulation of WRF numerical weather models can be used. The WRF model is one of the most responsive models for predicting precipitation, temperature and atmospheric elements that used in this study. In this paper, three great storm events on 15 December 2003, 24 - 26 December 2006 and 6-7 March 2007 have been selected in the Parsian dam basin and surrounding areas in south west of Iran. The result of WRF numerical weather prediction model for these great storms compared with data loggers. It showed that the WRF model was able to performance the heavy rainfall and simulates the rainfall pattern in these dates.

Abstract

The Kan-Soleghan basin is located on the southern Hillside of the Alborz, which has affected the Alp-Himalayan active zone over time. In this respect, the evaluation of active tectonic processes and their effects on many human activities, such as the design and construction of cities, powerhouse, dams, and industrial facilities are of great importance. The passage of the Tehran-North Freeway Tunnel from the area increases the activity of the faults that contributed to the formation of the current morphology of the basin. In this research, morphotectonic indices including river asymmetry index (Af), basin shape (Bs), hypsometric integral (Hi), Stream length index (Sl), mountain front sinusity (Smf), valley width to valley height (Vf), topographic symmetry (Tp) was calculated. Finally, the mean of the results of the indices was calculated as the LAT index. In the present study, topographic Map 1:50000 and digital elevation (DEM) maps with 30 m spatial resolution (ASTER sensors), the boundary layer of the basin, were used to calculate morphometric indices. The Kan-Soleghan basin area is divided into three tectonic regions with slow, semi-active, active Tectonic, and the calculation of the relative active tectonic (LAT) index indicates that the studied area is in tectonic terms in active state. The tectonic structures, especially the faults of the region, have affected the asymmetry and shape of the basin. The main river Kan-Soleghan also shows asymmetry, which can be said due to the structural factors, especially the faults of the region, the basin has asymmetry and deviation to the left of the basin. Also, the construction of the Tehran-north freeway and the location of the Tunnel openings in the vicinity of the northern fault of Tehran, is one of the human factors influenced by the tectonic activity of the area, which requires tectonic activity.

Abstract

Dates are one of the most important agricultural products exported from Iran. This plant is sensitive to environmental conditions and is not able to live and reproduce in all hot and dry areas in terms of quantity and quality. Dates have different varieties; each of them has the potential to adapt to a region of arid regions and can have the most production and economic yield in its proper place. Global warming in the last century has led planners to design pre-awareness programs and algorithms due to future climatic conditions in order to choose long-lived durable plants that can survive in future environmental conditions and have good economic yield. One of the best is the Maximum Entropy model. The aim of the present study is to identify the growth potentials of dates palm verities using CCSM4 model and scenarios of 2.6, 4.5, 0.6 and 8.5. The phonological data of cultivars were harvested by field method in 2016 and 2017. According to the model,  The results showed that the dates of Astamaran and Berhi dates are different in terms of the length of phonological growth and thermal needs until the fruit ripened, and the places prone to their growth during the 2050 and 2070 periods were not the same based on the model. In addition, to bioclimatic variables for the long-term use of long-lived perennial crops, the location data required for cultivation should be used to introduce different cultivars to the environment.
