Abstract

Today, the old fabric of cities has been severely dominated by unwanted developments due to increased construction and dependence on vehicles. This issue has caused many problems in urban issues. Therefore, physical reorganization plans are on the agenda as a solution to reduce these problems. Imam Street, which is located in the old part of Urmia, is one of the main and important streets of the city. One of the proposed projects in the strategic plan of the worn-out structures of Urmia city was the project of organizing and urban design of Imam Street, most of which has been implemented. The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of physical organization projects in the old part of Urmia. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the obtained data were collected through a researcher-made questionnaire. In order to analyze the data, one-sample t-test in SPSS program and also structural equation modeling using AMOS software were used. The average obtained from the T-test in measuring the satisfaction of businessmen and residents located in the old part of Urmia, which was more than 3, indicates that people living in this area and market acquisition are satisfied with the results of physical organization projects.

Abstract

In this research, the effect of climate change on the amount of virtual water of some strategic crops was investigated in Kerman province for future periods. For this purpose, the climatic data of HadCM3 model was used under RCP4.5 radiative forcing scenario. In order to investigate the possibility of producing and simulating meteorological data in the future periods, was applied the LARS-WG microscale-representative model. For the basic period (1991-2011), was done calibration and validation of the model. Through the data of LARS-WG, the amount of precipitation and the maximum and minimum temperature of the selected stations were predicted for the periods of 2011-2070 and compared with the base period. Virtual water amount was calculated for selected crops including alfalfa, barley and wheat. The results of the current research indicate that the phenomenon of climate change significantly affects the evapotranspiration and the performance of the studied crops, and hence it will affect the agricultural water productivity in the future. While the average temperature of the growing season will increase in the future under the influence of climate change, the maximum temperature parameter will be affected by this phenomenon more than the minimum temperature, and parallel to this, the water requirement and plant evaporation-transpiration will increase in this period. Also, the surveys show a decrease in precipitation in the hot seasons and an increase in the cold seasons in all study stations. The amount of virtual water changes obtained for all studied plants is increasing, and this increase for barley and wheat crops shows a greater increase on average in the future period. The biggest increase in the virtual water compared to the base period in Kerman station is related to barley and alfalfa products by at least 30%.

Abstract

In this study is simulation of role of topography in thickness and Inland penetration of sea-breeze in southern coast of the Caspian Sea. The RegCM4 as a regional scale climate model coupled with a lake model and also the reanalysis data of NCEP / NCAR used to determine of the initial conditions of the model. The model was run during the peak of sea breeze on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea (July 2002) in both conditions (with mountains) and (without mountains). the outputs indicated that in without topography condition depth of the sea breeze will increase to the current position the southern slopes of the Alborz Mountains ( latitude ᵒ35 ) but the land breeze in the area is gone. The maximum speed and changes in wind direction observed on the coast southeast and central Alborz respectively. In addition with non-topography conditions, the thickness of sea breeze in different areas significantly has increased with the highest rate on the eastern coast (longitude ᵒ53).

Abstract

Thunderstorms are major climatic events due to the significant effects and catastrophic consequences on humans and the natural environment. The researches have shown that the elevation and latitude factors are two variables that can affect the occurrence of this phenomenon. Therefore, the main aim of this study is to investigate the spatial analysis of the effects of lightning and its effects on the components such as elevation and geographic extent in Iran. Apart from this fact, firstly, the monthly data of thunderstorms occurrence in 118 synoptic stations of Iran, from 1991 to 2010 on a basis from the country's meteorological organization were obtained and GIS software was produced by the annual and seasonal maps of Iran. Then, for the spatial analysis of this climatic phenomenon, the method of landing statistics of the Kriging (Universal) method was to examine its seasonal and annual status. In order to better understand the effect of Thunder hurricanes from altitude and latitude using Curve Expert software, seasonal and annual charts, along with the correlation of each production, were analyzed. The results show that the highest annual thunderstorms occur in the northwest of Iran, and the least amount is consistent with the central and eastern parts of the country. In addition, according to seasonal analysis, although the station has the highest rate at 800 to 1,300 meters, the maximum occurrence of this phenomenon varies from 0 to 2200 meters in different seasons of the stations. The overall result shows that the factor of height is slightly correlated with the occurrence of the Thunder storm phenomenon and the highest correlation is due to the latitude factor.

Abstract

The present research about the spatial changes of precipitation is mainly focused on western areas of Iran. Precipitation data for three seasons of fall, winter, and spring have been obtained from Esafzari Database, with 15*15 km spatial resolution in the form of a Lambert Cone Image System for the period from 1986 to 2015. To examine the prevailing pattern of precipitation in west of Iran, we have used geostatistical methods of spatial autocorrelation. The changes in precipitation trends have been analyzed using parametric and non-parametric analyses of regression and Mann Kendal. We have used MATLAB for analysis of the data. We have also used ArcGIS and Surfer for drawing maps.  The results of inter-decade changes of positive spatial autocorrelation of precipitation in west of Iran have indicated that there has been a decline in spatial extent of the positive spatial autocorrelation pattern in spring and fall, except for winter with a negligible increasing trend. Nevertheless, except for the second period, no considerable spatial changes were observed in the spatial pattern of precipitation in the region. However, there was a decreasing trend in the negative spatial autocorrelation of precipitation in annual and seasonal scales. The results of trend analysis have indicated that there was a decreasing trend in a vast area of the west parts of the country in annual scale and also in winter. Although there was an increasing trend in precipitation in fall and spring, but the trend was not significant in 95 % of confidence interval. The results of Man Kendal test have confirmed the results obtained from linear regression.

Abstract

The tourism industry has become a major economic activity in the early years of the 21st Century and is considered one of the most productive and most employment-oriented global industries. Tourism is one of the most important factors generating wealth and employment in the world. It is necessary to plan for the proper exploitation of this industry, The most important steps to plan are to locate sites for providing tourists with the services they need in the form of tourist villages, This research is for the city of Shush which is one of the most important tourist areas of Khuzestan province And since it has many ancient monuments, it has attracted many tourists, , But the city has been at a very low level in terms of having a space worthy of tourists. Therefore, the conditions reinforced the idea of creating a tourism village. In this research, location-based discussion was conducted through a fuzzy inference system, Finally, the Fuzzy Topsis method has been used to protect the environment and to some extent extend sustainable tourism development. The ranking of these sites is based on environmental criteria. In the fuzzy inference system by applying the layers required in this method, four sites are considered to be very suitable. Then, using Fuzzy Topsis, which includes 10 criteria and 4 options, identified the best site on site 4. This site will bring the least damage to the environment, Located on the banks of the Dez River, most of the area has been covered by ground. In terms of maintaining environmental criteria, the site has a completely organic environment than other sites.

Abstract

The Urban Development Strategy Plan is an attempt to take into account the potential and talent capacities of the city in an institutionalized and systematic framework and the construction of a clear future as one of the current concerns that identifies strategies for creating urban sustainability conditions in good governance. The main idea of this policy is that it is imperative for all cities in an increasingly competitive and increasingly global economy to have a clever and clear strategy for how its land is positioned to minimize negative effects, predict potential shocks, and exploit the comparative potential and Competitive In such a situation, making decisions for urban issues and planning for the future is much more difficult. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the urban development strategy of District 22 as one of the tools for implementing urban governance paradigm. The research method is descriptive-analytic. The tool for evaluating AHP's hierarchical analysis technique is implemented according to the views of the experts and stakeholders. The results of the research indicate a significant difference between the design of CDS and its implementation phase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the spatial pattern of urban green space distribution applying the Network Analysis Process Model (ANP) and VIKOR (Case Study: District 5 of Tehran). After the Islamic Revolution, due to various reasons such as overflow of population to Tehran from the central and southern regions and the flood of refugees to Tehran, it has faced with the increase in population and development, which makes it important to study the distribution of green space in different parts of the city. Two types of questionnaires were used. The first questionnaire was completed by available sampling method from the participants in the parks of the area. The results were then analyzed using the VIKOR model. The second questionnaire was distributed among the relevant experts and analyzed using the ANP method. Considering the fact that the factors such as appropriate equipment, size and suitability for children had the highest weight, it is suggested that places for green space in the studied area should be determined in order to increase the number of green spaces. It is because, location was mentioned as an important factor. This can be achieved through the construction of parks in places close to residential areas away from military and arterial locations. Areas 5 and 2 suffered from the lack of green space and residents' dissatisfaction with the green space, thus being recommended; these are the first areas to increase green space and improve it by the municipality of the region.
