Abstract

حذف شدیک جمله Identify water resources management and proper application of relevant officials and managers are the main concern. Groundwater as a most important natural resources of Iran needs to planning and management of all aspects. In this regard, a study done of the Shaharchay river basin in the west of the Urmia Lake and the northern structural, sedimentary zone of Sanandaj - Sirjan. The aim of the study is to identify areas where the water table is higher in groundwater. To achieve this, an interpolation of (IDW) water level underground of Shaharchay by using the data of piezometeric well, then matching results with the position of faults and available tectonic seismic data. fractures were checked and the role of basin natural characteristics such as slope, lithology, soil type, ages of Geological, precipitation and landuse on groundwater level fluctuations were checked as well. Investigations show 4 different patterns of movement of groundwater in the basin area. Except of fault, other criteria alone are not much of a water table. The results show that the the western part of the water table is located in a very low of zoning , which has very high mountains with high slopes, high rainfall, no fracture Quaternary and pasture. Eastern part of the basin is located in the area of medium and high underground water level only a part of the shores of Urmia Lake in this zoning has a very high water table. With very little gradient, local average precipitation, high permeability, active Quaternary faults, the garden and the city landuse. But the center of the basin zoning was very high with very low permeability, high slope, average precipitation and mixture of garden, forest and grassland usages. basin center located on high seismic intensity zone and density Quaternary faults. only because of the high level in the basin center of Silvaneh are active faults and a high intensity tectonic seismic.

Abstract

The Rivers and the Canals are a completely dynamic system and their morphological patterns has been changed continuously over the time, which sometimes lead to erosion and damage to coastal facilities and border displacement. Therefore, its hydrologic behavior should always be considered. Iran has several border rivers with its neighbors that its necessary be studied of wise “the bed change approach. In this research, the Balehradud Border River, which forms 62 km from Iran's border with the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ardebil province, be studied based on the substitution approach by studying the hydromorphic indices of the Sinuosity coefficient, bending radius and central angle for the period 1955 and 2016 respectively using the map of Protocol 1/25000 and satellite imagery of ETM. And the indexes were calculated in AutoCAD and Arc maps software. The results show that the Meandering pattern has become more intense over the period of 61 years and the rate of river bed changes has been very high. As for the Sinuosity coefficient, the number of curves of river increase to 857 in year 2016 than 591 bends in year 1955 which indicates a significant change in river morphology. The values of curvature radius in the whole range confirm the existence of approximately the same arch along the river's path. This indicator for year 1955 shows that upstream have more meandering from downstream and versa this mode for the year 2016. Which can be due to climatic and tectonic changes. Also, a number of factors such as human interactions, climatic conditions, vegetation, loose tissue, are involved in the River bed change. It is important to take protective measures, such as stabilizing the coast and increasing vegetation and preventing the dumping of the river.

Abstract

The karst areas refers to individual areas that shaped by the dissolution of bedrock and subsurface drainage grid development and are connected mainly with limestone. The karstic formations outcrop 20 percent of the land surface of the planet is covered that 11 percent of Iran are part of this 20% is included. The ZAGROS region of origin karstic formations in the country that the formation of karst forms and numerous caves in the area attest to this claim. Overall creation and development of karst geomorphology, the formation of karstic aquifers are karstic systems. In fact karstic aquifers, underground reservoirs that store water in a web of interlocking joints and cracks, caves and canals. The karst can be effective ways to develop into three categories: physical, chemical and hydrogeologic studies divided that role of lithology and its properties, weather conditions and hydrological and structural factors such as faults and fissures, and slope area are of particular importance. In this study, characteristics OSHTORANKUH region of karst processes and the formation of karstic aquifers were examined and to do so using the AHP model the effect of weight each criterion was determined in karst area. Then, using the SAW model )is a subset of multiple criteria decision-making methods( Zoning areas prone to karstic aquifers OSHTORANKUH software was Arc GIS 10.3 and defining the center of the southern slopes of the western and north-eastern slopes of the mountain that are consistent with carbonate formation, the intersection of active faults and are the focus of surface runoff ,it also has a gentle slope than other parts of the region, have Better and more suitable conditions for the formation of karst processes karstic aquifers. The adaptation of the area most prone to the aquifer karst springs evidence of the correct zoning of the area is karstic aquifers.

Abstract

Karstic zones play an important role in feeding the karstic aquifers؛ therefore, recognizing the factors affecting the karst mutation and its zonation in the field of studies concerned with karst water resources is of great concern. The results of these studies can be applied to quantitative and qualitative management and protection of these resources against the pollutions coming from human activities. Karst mass of Khorin with an area of 396.5 square kilometers is located in elevated Zagros zone at the boundary of two provinces, Kurdistan and Kermanshah. Because of the outcrops of carbonate rocks and the presence of other variables, this mass in which there are many springs as karst aquifer outputs is susceptible of Karstification. Thus, identifying the karstic shapes as well as studying the geomorphology of karst and its development in the karst mass of Khorin is very significant. In this relief different forms of karst landscape including a variety of Lapies, sinkholes, caves, etc. have formed. Here, lithological layers, distance from faults, precipitation, temperature, slope, elevation, direction and plants were fuzzy considering the required function for each and then were combined using 0.9 gamma operator. At the end, the zonation map of surface karst development was prepared. This map was classified into four classes of without karst, karst with low development, karst with medium development and karst with high development through natural fractures method. Regarding the need for the layer of sinkholes, to study the accuracy of karst development zonation in the area under the survey, karst sinkholes were identified and their spatial distribution map was prepared using the Fill sink method. The results of this study indicate that about 98% of sinkholes are situated in the classes of triple karst.

Abstract

The Kan-Soleghan basin is located on the southern Hillside of the Alborz, which has affected the Alp-Himalayan active zone over time. In this respect, the evaluation of active tectonic processes and their effects on many human activities, such as the design and construction of cities, powerhouse, dams, industrial facilities are of great importance. The passage of the Tehran-North Freeway Tunnel from the area increases the activity of the faults that contributed to the formation of the current morphology of the basin. In this research, morphotectonic indices including river asymmetry index (Af), basin shape (Bs), hypsometric integral (Hi), Stream length index (Sl), mountain front sinusity (Smf), valley width to valley height (Vf), topographic symmetry (Tp) was calculated. Finally, the mean of the results of the indices was calculated as the LAT index. In the present study, topographic Map 1:50000 and digital elevation (DEM) maps with 30 m spatial resolution (ASTER sensors), The boundary layer of the basin, were used to calculate morphometric indices. The Kan-Soleghan basin area is divided into three tectonic regions with slow, semi-active, active Tectonic, and the calculation of the relative  Tectonic active (LAT) index indicates that the studied area is in tectonic terms in active state. The tectonic structures, especially the faults of the region, have affected the asymmetry and shape of the basin. The main river Kan-Soleghan also shows asymmetry, which can be said due to the structural factors, especially the faults of the region, the basin has asymmetry and deviation to the left of the basin. Also, the construction of the Tehran-north freeway and the location of the Tunnel openings in the vicinity of the northern fault of Tehran, is one of the human factors influenced by the tectonic activity of the area, which requires tectonic activity.

Abstract

Subsidence is an environmental phenomenon caused by the gradual subsidence or sudden subsidence of the earthchr('39')s surface. The phenomenon of subsidence in residential, industrial and agricultural areas can cause catastrophic damage. In most parts of Iran, there is a high correlation between land subsidence and the decrease of groundwater level and consequently the density of soil layers. In this study, using two time series of radar images with artificial apertures from Sentinel sensors belonging to 2014 and 2019, the amount of subsidence in Damaneh plain (Frieden city) was calculated. Wells were studied in the period 2014 to 2019, the results of the study of the correlation between land subsidence with changes in groundwater level at the level of 95% was significant. In the continuation of the research, using the logistic regression model, the subsidence trend in the study area was predicted and a subsidence probability map was prepared and created as a dependent variable for the logistic regression model. The independent variables used included altitude, slope, slope direction, geology, distance from the road, distance from the river, land use, distance from the village, groundwater level, piezometric wells. The output of the model is subsidence risk zoning map which was created in five classes. The accuracy and validation of the logistic regression model was evaluated using the system performance characteristic curve and the accuracy (0.89) was obtained. The good accuracy of the logistic regression model in producing the probability map Subsidence is in the study area. In the output of the model, it was found that the area of 1980 hectares, equivalent to 7.9%, has a very severe subsidence that has put the situation in a dangerous situation and the need for control and management to reduce this destructive effect.
