Abstract

Drought defined as a climatic phenomenon with the humidity and rainfall shortage as compared with normal conditions. This phenomenon affects on all of aspects of human activities‌, severely. while, studies associated with this phenomenon on the basis of appropriate methods are very low. In the  present study, effort  has been made to analyze the drought state in Ardabil province by means of software system capabilities in MATLAB and SEPI index in two temporal scales of 6 and 12 months. The climatic data of synoptically stations of Ardabil were used, Parsabad and khalkhal countian in Ardabil province. Results of study show that SEPI index reflects the features of two SPI and SEI indices well. And also enters temperature in the studying of drought conditions as one of the effective parameters in changing of drought intensity. There‌fore, the investigation into drought with SEPI index is better than SPI index. Studies associated to drought on the basis of SEPI index shows that drought process is increasing in Ardabil province. Temperature also has an increasing flow with higher intensity. Longest temporal continuation of drought in province, has occurred in Parsabad station in temporal scale of 12 months, from June‌, 1998 to November, 1999 in 18 month period. The greatest percentage of drought occurrence is in Parsabad station and the minimum of that is observed in Khalkhal station.

Abstract

Landslide, due to its dangerous nature in mountainous areas, usually causes morphology to suddenly collapse and causes major damage to residential areas, roads, agricultural lands, and so on. In this study, using the AHP model and fuzzy logic operators, we evaluated and zoned the landslide sensitivity in the Pseudogene basin in Razavi Khorasan province. The eight main criteria of elevation, slope, tilt direction, distance from the waterway, distance from the road, distance from the fault, geology and land use associated with the occurrence of landslide phenomena were examined in total. The sub-criteria were weighted and fuzzy using the Frequency Ratio Model. The weight of the criteria was also determined using the AHP model. Then the landslide susceptibility map was prepared using fuzzy operators 9 / 0.8 / 0 and 0.7 and verified using the ROC curve. The results showed that the gradient factor had the most effect and land use factor had the least effect on the occurrence of slip in the basin. Validation results of the model showed a 90% accuracy of the landslide sensitivity map with a 0.7% operator in the basin. Therefore, the fuzzy gamma model with the 7th operator provides the best form of landslide susceptibility map in the Pseudogene basin.

Abstract

Solid waste is an integral part of human life, generation of various quantities and qualities of which is one of the greatest environmental problems of the current era. Application of modern tools and technology to find the right place for recycling, where the volume of recyclable materials can be reduced, seems vital for reusing the recoverable materials contained in normal waste and their recycling and reusing in the cycle of industry. The study aimed to find a location for recycling and its converting industries in Kelardasht, Iran. This was a descriptive and analytical research with a survey approach. At first, experts of the field were recognized and a scientific panel was formed to identify the relevant criteria through Delphi method. In this respect, five criteria of the distance from residential and commercial areas, the distance from urban streets, the distance from the river, the distance from the hospital and education centers, and the distance from hotels, banks, and offices were selected. After that, the permitted distances for these criteria were determined by Delphi technique, followed by the application of the centroid method to determine the exact distances. Moreover, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and geographic information system (GIS) were exploited to determine the and use weights in raster maps and generation of the zoning map. Furthermore, the best locations for recycling were selected in Kelardasht using field survey method and based on the zoning map. According to the results, four sites were selected for recycling of recoverable solid waste in this region

Abstract

Karstic zones play an important role in feeding the karstic aquifers؛ therefore, recognizing the factors affecting the karst mutation and its zonation in the field of studies concerned with karst water resources is of great concern. The results of these studies can be applied to quantitative and qualitative management and protection of these resources against the pollutions coming from human activities. Karst mass of Khorin with an area of 396.5 square kilometers is located in elevated Zagros zone at the boundary of two provinces, Kurdistan and Kermanshah. Because of the outcrops of carbonate rocks and the presence of other variables, this mass in which there are many springs as karst aquifer outputs is susceptible of Karstification. Thus, identifying the karstic shapes as well as studying the geomorphology of karst and its development in the karst mass of Khorin is very significant. In this relief different forms of karst landscape including a variety of Lapies, sinkholes, caves, etc. have formed. Here, lithological layers, distance from faults, precipitation, temperature, slope, elevation, direction and plants were fuzzy considering the required function for each and then were combined using 0.9 gamma operator. At the end, the zonation map of surface karst development was prepared. This map was classified into four classes of without karst, karst with low development, karst with medium development and karst with high development through natural fractures method. Regarding the need for the layer of sinkholes, to study the accuracy of karst development zonation in the area under the survey, karst sinkholes were identified and their spatial distribution map was prepared using the Fill sink method. The results of this study indicate that about 98% of sinkholes are situated in the classes of triple karst.

Abstract

. The research method used in this research is descriptive-analytical, survey and quasi-experimental of simulation kind. Data from research samples with survey method and other data were obtained using written sources and documentary studies and collection tool was selected according to the research objectives based on GIS maps and AutoCAD software outputs and simulation tools or the modeling in Revit software and then were investigated in Excel and the analysis of appropriateness was carried out with the help of simulated outputs and two-dimensional and three-dimensional maps and, a fuzzy logic method was used in MATLAB software, and the sample population is extracted based on a stratified sampling method and the selected residential settlements were in the sixth district of region 5 of Tehran and these residential settlements including Apadana, Ekbatan Phase II and Ekbatan Phase I and III. This article was analyzed with the aim of identifying the role of open and enclosed spaces for residential complexes on improving the quality of the environment, including efficiency by using field multi-criteria fuzzy logic method. After analyzing the data, the results of studying the spatial ratios in three samples of residential area in Tehran's 5th district with the performance component of the quality of the environment show that by decreasing the mass ratio (indoor spaces) and increasing the ratio of space (access spaces and green), increasing the quality of the environment cannot be reached, but also increasing the quality of the environment is in direct contact with the observing the proportionality component of the space between the mass and space proportions

Abstract

One of the most important energy sources in the world is solar energy, which is a renewable resource and does not cause any damage to the environment. Which all of these features justify using it as a clean energy source and economically viable cost.. Due to the relatively large area of the Iran in low latitudes and relatively dry climatic conditions, in terms of solar energy utilization it uses excellent conditions. Solar power plants are considered as power generation and transmission networks whose is important that the location features of their construction sites are effective in reducing the risk of investing in solar energy. In this study, using geographic information system and fuzzy valuation method for the criteria and method of weighing (AHP), was considered the potential of the Kavir & desert region and Makran coast for the purpose of obtaining energy from the sun. For this purpose, were used the 14 criteria related to the climatic, infrastructural, and technical and physical conditions of the area. In order to overlap the fuzzy layers were used the usual operators, Gamma, Product and also the Sum Weighted Overlay operator to compare and present the appropriate result. Each of the operators has a different sensitivity to the fuzzy overlap of the layers. For this reason, was considered the Gamma 0.9 operator, due to the high sensitivity for building power plants with high electrical power generation and the Sum Weighted Overlay operator, for the construction of smaller capacity plants. In the overlay map, using the Gamma 0.9 operator, about 2%, and in the overlay map with the weighted operator, about 33% of the study areas were found to be very suitable for the construction of solar power plants.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of providing a remotely sensed water quality index in Assaluyeh port using remote sensing technology. so, according to the region conditions, studying of scientific resources and access to satellite data, the parameters of heavymetals, dissolved ions, SST, chlorophyll-a and pH were selected. Then, by reviewing sources, the product MYD091km, MYD021km, MOD021km, MOD091km and level2 images of chlorophyll-a and SST of MODIS sensor were used after preprocessing operations. Also In-situ data were collected Simultaneously with the capture of satellite images in August 2014. Then, the relationships between the water quality parameters and MODIS data, with (R2) from 0.59 to 0.94 and (RMSE) from 0.07 to 0.1 were obtained. Next the images of the MODIS sensor from 2015 to 2017 were prepared and the models were applied to them, then the layers were standardized by fuzzy logic. Also time series of SST data from 2003 to 2017 were prepared and for each month the average pixel values were calculated and based on this, from 2015 to 2017, the variation of this parameter was standardized. Finally, an effective index for assessing the quality of coastal waters was provided by time series of satellite images and the waters of Assaluyeh port were zoned. The results showed that the water quality in 2015 and 2016 has shifted from poor to very poor status in 2017. Based on the results, with the development of a proposed index, in future studies a continuous assessment of environmental monitoring is possible.
