Abstract

After the victory of the Islamic revolution, a new form of attitude towards science and technology was formed in Iran. This scientific discourse was directly influenced by the Islamic revolution and Islamic ideology and formulated new values and goals for the development of science and technology. After the revolution, since the statesmen considered science and technology as one of the key factors for the development and excellence of the society, they formed scientific policies and plans in order to realize the revolutionary and Islamic goals. This attitude towards science and technology in Iran during that period had a significant impact on the country's scientific and technological development. Considering the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been at the helm of scientific leadership in the region after 1357, Iran and its role in the development of scientific power in post-revolution governments. In order to achieve this goal, the descriptive-analytical method and reliable statistics in domestic and foreign sources were used. The findings of the research showed that the type of discourse in different governments includes focusing on industrialization through the substitution of imports and capital resources (1360-1368), modernization and institutionalism and focusing on advanced technologies (1376-1368), focusing on technologies advanced, innovation and export development, and social justice mainly relying on knowledge industries (1384-1376), focusing on the transition of the industry towards knowledge-based innovation in the economy (1384-1392) and emphasizing the increase of international cooperation with an emphasis on identity and Rationality was in compilation and implementation (1392-1400). The results of the research show that in each period, according to the dominant discourse, measures such as the development of higher education and scientific research, the establishment of universities and research centers, and the creation of domestic and international scientific networks can be mentioned.

Abstract

As China's economic, technological and military power continues to rise, the US is increasingly concerned about Beijing's rising power. The United States views China's regional rise as a challenge to its hegemonic ambitions. China's increasing military power and political influence in East Asia has caused concern and suspicion among some of its neighbors and Washington. In the meantime, America for reasons such as; Countering the rise of China and supporting the freedom of navigation in this region has an active presence. Washington's effort to challenge China's maritime sovereignty reflects the United States' concern about China's rise and its determination to maintain its hegemony in the Asia-Pacific region. This causes the United States to try to create a ring of encirclement against China and contain it regionally and ultimately prevent the change of the balance of power to the detriment of Washington in East Asia. Thus, the research question is, what strategy does America follow to contain China's power in the South China Sea? The hypothesis that can be proposed is that considering that China's economic growth and the expansion of its maritime power are considered a strategic threat to the countries of the region and the United States; Therefore, Washington to prevent China from becoming a regional hegemon in East Asia; In an effort to prevent the rise and rise of China in the region, it has been found that this, while forming the balance of power in favor of Washington and its regional allies in East Asia, can help to secure the goals and interests of the United States in the region. Preventing China's rise to power and the containment and isolation of this country in the region, while shaping the balance of power in favor of Washington and its regional allies in East Asia, can greatly contribute to the development of influence and securing the goals and interests of the United States and its allies in the region.

Abstract

Villagers' self-organization as a collaborative process plays a fundamental role in promoting sustainable livelihoods in rural areas. This study was carried out to identify the driving forces affecting the self-organization of villagers and improving sustainable rural livelihood in Ashtian County in Iran. This qualitative research was conducted with an analytical-exploratory approach and through a semi-structured questionnaire and interviews with 30 experts. Collected qualitative data were analyzed using the Delphi method and MicMac software to identify relationships and patterns between concepts. The findings revealed that the distribution of factors and variables influencing the improvement of sustainable rural livelihoods in the studied area was unstable. Also, among the 24 primary influential factors, the 10 factors that had the highest score were identified as the fundamental drivers influencing the future process of self-organization of villagers aligned with sustainable rural livelihood. Drivers of innovation and creativity of villagers in the fields of agricultural and non-agricultural activities, skills and experience of villagers in group activities, establishing local organizations as an Individual factor; drivers of Increasing the spirit of entrepreneurship, launching and promoting new local businesses as a psychological factor; Drivers of Increasing participation, cooperation and sense of responsibility in agricultural and non-agricultural activities as a social factor; Drivers of empowering villagers and increasing their awareness and social and economic skills, Taking advantage of  new IT and ICT technologies in the process of structural empowerment of them in the direction of self-organization as an education and empowerment factor; Drivers of access to various and reliable financial resources for use in agricultural and non-agricultural activities as an economic factor; Drivers of delegating authority to villagers in line with local planning and decentralization as a planning and management factor, and finally  drivers of supporting the creation and development of local businesses and diversifying the agricultural and non-agricultural activities of villagers, as well as increasing investment in the process of innovative businesses as a socio-economic support factor.

Abstract

The increased use of thermal power plants has led to the spread of greenhouse gases in the air and has caused psychological problems for humans. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to measure the pollutants released by Sahand Bonab thermal power plant and to investigate the effects of this pollution on the psychological and psychological pressure of rural residents. The GWP100 method was used to measure the pollutants of the power plant and to measure the mental and emotional pressures of the citizens, a questionnaire was used to assess the psychological stress of Markham. The statistical population of this study is 10254 people over 15 years of age in 7 villages located in the greenhouse of the power plant. Using formulas and simple random sampling, 375 subjects were selected as sample size. The results showed that the most pollutants released are CO2 and NOx, which is 4.17 times the warm seasons in the seasons. Also, analysis of the results by using a Pearson test showed that six variables including neurological and disturbing variables p= 0.272, stress and psychological stress p= 0.325, feeling of energy decrease, p= 0.287, feeling of despair and disappointment in life p = 0.142, feeling Depression in life of p= 0.211 and change in behavior patterns in everyday life p= 0.269 had the most effect on air pollution. Also, mental and psychological stress in nearby villages was higher than in remote villages, more women than young men than older men and elderly people. The results of multivariate regression and path analysis showed that in general, the air pollution caused by the power plant has the ability to explain R2 = 37.42 percent of the changes related to the psychological and psychological pressure of the villagers. Finally, it can be said that thermal power plants have negative mental and psychological effects according to type of activity, type of age and gender of the villagers, which should be considered in the studies of the construction of power plants.

Abstract

While women account for about half the population of rural areas, they have always been considered as vulnerable populations of the community. Considering empowerment and its effective factors can increase their participation in livelihoods and increase their ability to help increase their family income. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the factors and drivers that affect the empowerment of rural women. The present research is a descriptive-analytical one. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire and interviewed with rural women in Zanjan. The statistical population includes rural women in Zanjan city (N = 43559). Using Cochran's formula and quotient sampling, 381 women over 20 years old were selected as samples. Data were analyzed using one-sample t-test and binary logistic regression tests. The results showed that among the 29 variables in the study, 14 variables significantly had a significant relationship with the empowerment of rural women in Zanjan. Accordingly, economic factors (0.1171), psychological (0.197) and personal factors (109.10) had the most effects on empowerment of rural women (dependent variable). The results of this study can be used to identify the factors affecting the empowerment of rural women and removing the barriers related to it in the villages of the region and in general in the villages of the country.

Abstract

 In today's world, the process of globalization and communication and information innovations has brought the "cities" into an actor of national and global competition. No urban point in the world can rely on maintaining its traditional role in the urban hierarchy, as other urban areas compete in a network structure with other cities in order to enhance their position on the network and overcome other competitors. In contemporary cities, forces, activists, and urban actors face a different role in their political, economic, social, and cultural domains, with a view to their modern and highly sensitive interests, and therefore competition between the positive and the negative ones It has emerged or is underway. Given the importance of this, political geographers and geopolitics are studying the important process, which is in fact the "urban geopolitics", created in the wake of urban competition, and with the growing competition of urban action-makers and forwards ahead. , Pay. The present paper uses a descriptive-analytical method to make it clear that urban geopolitics, on the one hand, includes a set of common rivalries, ideas and perceptions of political factions, religious denominations, or other social centers that social groups It brings to the fore and creates a worldview for them. On the other hand, the concept of this survey shows how these perceptions, the field of decision-making by citizens, and the occurrence of competition, change, and sometimes even protests in urban environments. It then changes with inspiration from geopolitical conditions. Hence, a kind of geopolitical measure on a city scale has made cities important actors in diverse geographic areas. The results of this research show that the multi-dimensional phenomenon of the city is studied by political geographers and geopolitics, with emphasis on the pivotal elements of space, politics, power and competition.

Abstract

The migration of young people and the aging of rural communities, for reasons such as poverty and unemployment, will create a lot of need for identifying new approaches to the survival of rural communities. Small business entrepreneurship has an important role in reducing poverty and, ultimately, rural development. However, this kind of entrepreneurship faces many challenges in terms of environmental, economic and ... The purpose of this research is to examine the challenges of entrepreneurship in improving entrepreneurship, creating employment and sustainable income through setting up small businesses. The present research is aimed at applying the field of observation and control, and in terms of the nature and method of descriptive-analytical. The statistical population of the study consisted of rural households living in Bijar. According to the census of 1395, the population of this city was 89,162 persons, which according to the distribution of 44% of the rural population and 56% of the city. There are also 283 rural villages in the seaside district, among which 12 villages have entrepreneurship and 244 of them are households using the modified Cochran formula. Data gathering method was library and field questionnaire (questionnaire). In this questionnaire, individuals were asked to identify the importance of each of the identified challenges in rural small business based on the options of this spectrum (high, high, medium, low, and very low) based on the Likert spectrum. Structural Equation Modeling (Factor Analysis) has been used for analyzing data in Amos software. The results of the research show that all challenges in the entrepreneurship of small businesses have been affected, but economic factors with factor load of 0.91 have the highest impact among existing challenges and the individual and social challenges with factor load are 0.23 and 0.28, respectively. The least load has been the factor.

Abstract

Energy plays a major role in providing welfare of urban and rural households, and reforming energy consumption patterns, in addition to price balancing, requires recognition and acts of cultural and social variables affecting the pattern of consumption and savings. Considering the importance of saving electricity and its relation with consumer behavior, in this study, the difference in urban and rural communities was investigated in terms of effective factors on energy savings. The present research is descriptive-analytical in terms of purpose and method. The data-gathering tool and information collection and interviews with urban and rural households in Poledokhtar city. The statistical population includes urban and rural households in Poledokhtar Township (N= 30012). Using Cochran formula and simple random sampling method, 379 households (244 urban households and 135 rural households) were selected. In the data analysis section, analysis of variance and logistic regression tests were used. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the factors and indicators affecting power saving in rural and urban areas. The individual agent and the factor of behavior management and purchasing, while the factor is the most important factor in saving households in rural areas, primarily influence power saving in urban areas.

Abstract

The national strength of algebraic aggregation is a large number of positive and negative factors that are composed of numerous sources and resources. One of the important sources of national power in the world today and in the post-Cold War period is economic power, which is itself the bedrock of other superstructures, such as political, military, and so on. This research uses descriptive-analytical method and using library resources and field research to answer this question. What are the most important variables and indicators that shape economic power of countries? The findings of the research by examining library documents show that the four main components of economic power including infrastructure, production exchange, production level and financial resources can affect economic power. Meanwhile, 61 variables related to quadruple components were identified. Then, by using the Likert spectrum questionnaire, internal knowledge was measured to measure the importance of each of these variables. Accordingly, economic infrastructure, high-tech exports, food imports and international currency reserves were of high importance. On the other hand, variables such as the share of the poor in the consumption of national income, economic competition, foreign ownership, and commercial costs of violent crimes were of minor importance. Finally, it can be argued that countries have an obligation to take into account the factors and variables in the economic dimension to achieve their national interests and interests.

Abstract

There are several limiting factors to the development of cities. These factors lead cities to develop in certain directions. Air pollution as a major problem of metropolises can itself be considered as a limiting factor of urban development by urban decision makers. 4 relatively large power plants are operating in Mashhad. There are currently two power plants in the east of the city and two in the west of Mashhad. Most of the fuel in these power plants is gasoline and natural gas. Modeling the air pollutant emissions of these power plants and identifying the pattern of pollutant emissions across the city can play a key role in the quality of life and health of approximately 3.5 million Mashhad residents. The outputs of this model can also be used as an effective parameter in estimating the urban development model. In this study, the emission of NOX, CO and 10PM pollutants was modeled and evaluated using AERMOD software in Mashhad. Using Arc GIS software, the population affected by these air pollutants was determined by one year solar time, the concentration of pollutants in different areas of the city and the area affected by the pollution concentration range was determined.

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to model a community-  based development approach in neighborhood development planning using structural equation methods. The analytical-descriptive research method is applied with a practical purpose and the approach governing the research space with a methodological focus is a quantitative approach. Two library and survey methods have been used to gather information on the subject of study. The statistical population studied in this study is all people over 18 years of age in the study neighborhood of Abarkouh city (Golkaran). Using a questionnaire tool that was adjusted according to the Likert spectrum, it was collected and its reliability was determined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which includes both the total coefficient and the coefficient of different sections in the dimensions of the questionnaire and also to determine the validity of the questionnaire. Experts in the field of urban planning benefited. In the data analysis section, two levels of descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics were used to measure and evaluate the amount of components affecting the community-based development approach and also to formulate an operational model in the study neighborhood using structural equation model in Amos software environment. Was. This model examines the interrelationships and interactions of variables and the degree of effectiveness and effectiveness of each other.The results of data analysis using the model of structural equations show that having a community-based approach to neighborhood development has a direct and significant effect on promoting neighborhood development.
