The article investigates the influence of her personal life and also her age on her poetry. In her poetry Foroughdeals withissues related to women of her time and feminine feelings that rise from women’s sensitive soul. She also deals with different kinds of love in her poetry, such as love of the opposite sex (mostly satirical and ironical), motherly love, and love of all people. She also looks critically at patriarchal culture and the captivity and inferiority of women in the past and present.
