Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the impact of managerial
changes on the performance of football clubs in Iranian premier league. The
statistical population of present study contains all clubs which participated in 12
seasons of Iranian football clubs premier league from 2001 to 2013. The whole
data was extracted from the archive of premier league organization and Foolad
Mobarakeh Sepahan sport club. Improvement or degradation of football clubs in
each season compared to the previous season based on managerial changes or
stability has been investigated. The data was analyzed with one way ANOVA with
Gabriel post hoc test, and independent sample t test in significant lower than 0.05.
Results revealed that managerial stability had significant effect on improvement of
the performance, and successive changes of executive managers had significant
impact on degradation of performance. Results showed that managerial changes
caused a 2.48 decline in their rank on the league schedule, and managerial
stability caused a 1.00 improvement in their rank on the league schedule.
Generally analysis of results supported the hypothesis that managerial stability
provides enough time for implementation and realization of long term and short
term goals and final improvement on clubs performance.

Abstract

Today, Organizational culture has an important role in implementation of
Knowledge management. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to predict of
knowledge management through organizational culture in sports organizations.
The Statistical popularly was all managers of National Olympic committee, National
Paralympics committee, National Olympic Academy, and Sport Federations
(N=225). Base on Morgan table, 421 people were selected to this research with
random stratified sampling method.
Probst & et al. (2000) knowledge management questionnaire and Edwin (2006)
organizational culture questionnaire was used to collect data. Data analysis was
performed by the linear and multiple regression.The results of present study
showed there was significant relationship between knowledge management and
organizational culture (p<0.05). Organizational culture had predicted the
knowledge management. Also, organizational flexibility, organizational compatibility
and organizational participation had the most significant prediction with Knowledge
management. With regard to these results, notice to organizational culture in work
place by sport managers can as an effective factor for enhancement of knowledge
managment.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify and prioritize barriers to sponsorship of private sponsorship of sport of champions in Kerman province. The research method was survey and Based on applied objective. The statistical population included top managers of private firms in Kerman province (N =150) Which 108 companies were selected with simple random sampling. The required data were collected by using researcher made questionnaire. Face validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by 10 experts in sports management and content validity was calculated based on Lawshe model CVI=0.92. In order to identify the factors and assess the construct validity, exploratory factor analysis method was used. Internal reliability was obtained with Cronbach Alpha α=0.82. To analyze the data one sample t test and ANOVA test were used. Results of factor analysis showed that 57% of the total variance was related to four factors: One-sample t test results showed that there  were significant differences between all of the barriers with score criteria. Also results of ranking of barriers showed that the factor of legal-government is the most important factor inhibitor with an average of 3.76 and sports management was minimum repressor factor in the lack of financial support private companies of sport of champions with an average of 3.68. Therefore Codification of legislation and regulations for the sponsors is very important to eliminate the barriers of their participation in the sport of champions.

Abstract

Volunteer Movement and deliver services to society is phenomenons of  coeval universe.The aim of this research work was to present a pattern for Iran`s sports volunteer absorbance management information system requirement analysis. This investigation was of descriptive-analytic sort and in regard for practical goal, it was type of (UML) methodology and it used object-oriented design model (RUP). The questionnaire implements were prepared.The statistic-population consisted:All youth and sports ministry deputies, directors of all staffs All presidents, vice presidents and professors of Iran`s sports federations.Census method was opted for sampling. Validity of the survey was confirmed by sports management professors and software science professors. Reliability of questionaire was obtained by Brown-Spearman 87/ split-half experiment and Cronbach`s alpha ratio calculation 72/.Findings showed: sports volunteer absorbance management information system requirement was presented which contained: human resource, planning, registration and acceptance, introduction, financial and support, education and advocating, reward and retrain. Iran`s candidate stakeholders were identified and eventually requirement analysis pattern was presented. Identification of information needs is the basis of voluntary information system management, because if the knowledge of the system is not well done, effective interaction between the volunteers and the information system management will not come about. For this reason, the basis for the analysis of the requirements of the information management system of sports volunteers is the identification of information needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the status of quality management in basic and medalist federations of Iran based on EFQM-AHP Approach. Thus descriptive- survey method was conducted in two steps. First the EFQM criteria was prioritized and weighted based on paired-comparison questionnaire (AHP) through top managers of federations and then the standard self-assessment questionnaire of organizational excellence that was valid and reliable, distributed between samples (150 p) to evaluate the quality management and excellence of federations. Result of AHP showed that orderly key performance results, strategy, leadership, costumer’s results, people results, partnership and resources, society results, processes and people had high priorities and result of self-assessment showed that swimming, shooting, gymnastic, rowing, athletics and boxing federations had highest excellence orderly. The results show that implementation the quality management approaches based on recommendation of excellence model or other similar models is inevitable and could predict the succession in international events.

Abstract

The movement imagery helps to learn various sports skills if persons have a reasonable imagery about how doing that skill and the command be carved on the brain. The main aim of the current study is to investigate the visual and content validity as well as the reliability of the Persian version of the Movement Imagery Questionnaire for Children MIQ-C. The main questionnaire was translated into the Persian by using the Translation-back Translation method. In order to standardize and validate the questionnaire, 10 elites in the field of the motor imagery and sports psychology, filled the questionnaires in order to determine the content validity ratio (CVR) and the content validity index (CVI). After a primitive study, the necessary modifications were applied.The questionnaire reliability was investigated by the test-retest reliability method and the Cronbach's alpha. Results indicated that the CVR and CVI are 0.62 and 0.79, respectively, which confirms the validity of the questionnaire. The reliability was confirmed by the internal consistency method which value was obtained higher than 0.7. For evaluating the ability of children in motor imaginary, a reliable method should be used.According to obtained results of the current work, the questionnaire benefits from a suitable reliability and validity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to predict the management of change through the use of information technology components in the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran. To collect data, a questionnaire was used to survey the acceptance and use of information technology in the workplace (Davis, 1989) in four sections: perceived usefulness with 6 questions, perceptual ease with 6 questions, attitude towards the use of information technology with 5 questions, and The tendency to use information technology with 4 questions and a total of 21 questions of five values (Likert number 1 to 5, too many) were used and the AdCaracy FAQ changed the management to assess the extent and the extent to which employees were exposed to changes in the workplace to measure The components of knowledge, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement (Likert Five Value Questionnaire). The questionnaire from the translated translated article is a research article to investigate the extent and staff resistance to change (Boehne, 2012). It is worth mentioning that the questionnaire is a super standard and international, and with the confirmation of professors, Is. Its reliability has been approved and certified at an international level of 96%. The methodology of this research is descriptive-survey. The results of the research were descriptive and inferential statistics such as Kalmogorov-Smirnov (to determine the normality of the data), single-sample t-test (to determine the status of the main variables), Pearson correlation coefficient (to determine the relationships between variables), multiple regression test (forward direction Nasal variables) were analyzed using spss software. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between "change management" and "application of information technology". Also, there is a significant positive relationship between "perceived usefulness", "perceived ease", "attitude toward application" and "tendency to use" with "change management" (p <0.05)., So it can be deduced that change management can be predicted through the IT component. In this research, change management is considered as a criterion variable and is predicted through the application of information technology components.

Abstract

Although reputation construct enters early in sport but; not only supportive behavior isn’t new question, but also always have been noticed by sport teams. The present research is in search of be clarify that is sport that is prominent setting of emotion and feeling of spectator and fans, team reputation can appear spectator supportive behavior? In this research number of 580 persons as sample from spectator population’s fc. Esteghlal and Persepolis F.C. selected. Questionnaires because reputation emotional component (reputation perception construct) Were distributed as online that game day’s emotion didn’t impact on spectator answer. Jang et al. (2015) team reputation questionnaire consist of 6 subscales and 19 items, Ponzi et al. 2011 supportive behavior and reputation perception everyone had 4 items that adjusted in 5-points Likert scale. Questionnaire content validity have been evaluated by 7 professors in sport management. Alpha Cronbach’s coefficient has been measured for reliability. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) also used for construct validity. indeed, shown that team reputation predicted %42 changes of supportive behavior without reputation perception while with Presence this predicted %24. In conclusion reputation perception as emotional construct have more impact on supportive behavior than Functional and cognitive component.

Abstract

Today, because of living in the machines age and the resulted less mobility and activity of citizens, the diverse and accessible sports for the citizens has become more important. This research which was carried out by qualitative methodology with fundamental-exploratory nature and using the grounded theory is aimed at designing a conceptual model for citizen sports in Tehran metropolitan area. The purposeful-snowball sampling method was used in the research. Accordingly, in order to collect the data, 25 experts of citizen sports were interviewed, and the Strauss and Corbin paradigm analysis was used to develop the final model. Given the results, motivational and health factors were identified as causal conditions, the hardware and software context was identified as the dominant field, the behavioral, structural and environmental level factors were identified as the intervening conditions. Also, promotional, legal, financial, educational, interactive and developmental measures were identified as strategies, and securing national interests, economic consequences, sport development, health-sanitary and socio-cultural outcomes were identified as the strategies implementation results. Given these findings, one can expect that by identifying the citizen sports conditions and concentration on strategic actions, the functional and operational facilities for its development and growth would be provided in Tehran metropolitan area.

Abstract

Today, commercial companies have accepted that sportsponsoring can act as a powerful tool for promoting their value. This study examines the impact of sponsorship aspects on brand equity of sponsor while researching about Hamrah Aval Company. The research method is descriptive-analytical, and is practical in terms of research target. The research is implemented using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The statistical population of the research is consisted of the fans of Perspolis and Esteghlal football teams who are members of HamrahAval fan system.393 questionnaires were collected using stratified random sampling in the field.A researcher made questionnaire was used to collect primary data.The validity of the questionnaire was checked using confirmation of sport management and marketing professors, and its reliability was tested using Cronbach's alpha (α=0.95), and construct validity was made through confirmatory factor analysis.The findings showed that the suggested research model had a good fitness and all of the six aspects of sport sponsorship had a significant effect on the brand equity of the sponsor, and all the research hypotheses were confirmed.According to the findings, it is recommendedthat brand sponsors plan marketing activities (TV coverage and advertisements) to promote their brand equities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of mediator of competitive advantage and organizational reputation in the causal relationship between social responsibility and Team performance of Persepolis Club. The research method is descriptive-survey in terms of purpose and applied with a structural equation approach.The statistical population included all Persepolis fans and the sample size according to Morgan table was 384 people (randomly).The Ressler's Club Reputation Questionnaire (2010), Hosseini's Competitive Advantage (2011), Galbrith Social Responsibility (2010), Glenn Team Performance (2003), Hosseini (2016), Cooper and Satter (2011) were used. Descriptive and inferential statistics with SEM approach were used to analyze the data; The results were analyzed using SPSS22 and Smart PLS3 software. It was found that social responsibility has a positive and significant effect on team performance, competitive advantage and organizational reputation. The direct and significant effect of reputation on team performance and the mediating role of reputation was minor confirmed. However, the effect of competitive advantage on team performance and the mediating role of competitive advantage was not confirmed. It is suggested that Persepolis, by performing social responsibilities in economic, ethical, legal and humanitarian dimensions, promote the reputation, competitive advantage and team performance of the club.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of input sources, market position and creativity in creating a competitive advantage for sports businesses. This research was a descriptive-survey and in terms of practical purpose. The statistical population of this study consisted of managers of water sports recreational complexes in Tehran. To collect the data needed to test the hypotheses, a field method and a questionnaire were used. To obtain more confidence in the results, 80 questionnaires were distributed among managers in purposeful way in relation to the distribution of water sports complexes in five districts of Tehran province of which 75 questionnaires were analyzed. Findings showed that Input resources, market positioning and creativity power has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage.
The results of this study are the purposefulness of the hybrid approach due to the ability to properly use input resources including human, organizational and financial resources, attention to customer capital and having competitive intelligence as creators and stabilizers in the market and also capital of innovation, information technology capability and knowledge management as the most important resources and elements in using creativity, they can bring a competitive advantage to businesses.

Abstract

In this study, some predictions and consequences of football fans' engagement have been examined. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of how to collect descriptive information of correlation type. To collect the required data, Persepolis football team fans (n = 220) were considered as a statistical sample and completed the electronic questionnaires voluntarily. To collect data from six questionnaires; Team Quality Questionnaire Zhang et al. (1997), Communication Quality Questionnaire Nyadzayo et al. (2015), Emotional Satisfaction Questionnaire Reynolds & Beatty (1999), Perceived Value Questionnaire Daniel Sweeney (2008), Engagement Questionnaire Researcher-made, Behavioral Questionnaire Kim (2008) has been used. The results of structural equation modeling showed that team quality affects emotional satisfaction and engagement of fans, but relationship quality only affects engagement. The relationship between emotional satisfaction and fan engagement as well as the relationship between engagement and behavioral intentions was positive and significant. The role of positive mediation of emotional satisfaction on the relationship between team quality and fan engagement was confirmed. Also, Perceived value moderated the causal relationship between relationship quality and emotional satisfaction. According to the results, it is suggested that the clubs, by improving the quality of their team and relationship with the fans, create a permanent engagement for them so that they can increase their intention to re-presence and word of mouth spread.

Abstract

Like any other social system, universities have a significant role in training and supplying efficient manpower. In this regard, educational services provided by the universities are among the most important educational fields of any society which have a close relationship with community development; And the faculties of physical education and sports science are no exception. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design a model for measuring the quality of educational services of faculties in physical education and sports science.The methodology of the present research has been applied in terms of purpose, and from the perspective of the method, descriptive-Correlation is specifically based on structural equation modeling. The population was estimated using the sample size estimator software based on the statistical power of  (n=382). Sampling method was selected as a one-step cluster sampling from three geographic regions of the country. In the present study, the evaluations related to the face and content validity and convergent and Discriminant validity were carried out based on the supporting standard opinions of experts, Composite Reliability, Average Variance Extracted, Fornell and Larker it has been done. Was also used for data analysis by lisrel 9/30 Software.In overall, the 5 identified components could explain 58.36 of the data variances of this study, in which 24.09 belonged to educational requirements, 10.12 to aesthetic requirements, 9.06 to context requirements, 8.15 to external participation requirements and 6.94 process requirements.Based on the proposed model, it is suggested that Physical Education faculty managers pay great attention to their students’ educational requirements in order to improve their quality of services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the effect of mental imagery, observational learning, combined (imagery and observational learning) and physical training on mental representation and performance of novice golfers. To this end, 60 students(age:22.8±2.11) were randomly assigned in four groups: 1) mental imagery, 2) observational learning 3) combined (imagery + observational learning) and 4) physical training. After the pre-test, the participants in each group performed the golf putting for 3 consecutive days (60 attempts per day) and the post-test was performed on the third day. Two days after the post-test, a retention test was taken. Performance accuracy and structure of mental representation of participants were measured as dependent variables. Results showed that in the golf putting variable, the physical training group was better than other groups. Also, the performance of the combined group was better than the imagery and observational learning group. In addition, in the mental representation variable, the combined group had a more structured and accurate mental representation than than other groups. In addition, the imagery group had a better mental representation than the observational learning and physical training group. Overall, The result of this study show that physical training compared to other methods increases the accuracy of golf putting. Also combined imagery and observational learning training, has a greater impact than other methods used in this study.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of physical maturity and chronological age on the motor abilities of students aged 7-12 years. 600 students aged 7-12 years were selected in three age categories. To determine the state of physical maturity, the estimation of the percentage of adult height obtained at a certain age was used. Finally, the motor ability test was used to assess motor ability. The results of the present study showed that the effect of chronological age was significant for the variable of motor abilities in girls and boys studied. Also, the effect of maturity level was significant for the variable of motor abilities. Comparison of means showed that students born at normal maturity levels have higher mean motor ability than students born at early and late maturity levels. According to the results of the present study, the level of maturity has a significant effect on the performance of motor skills. Finally, the results of this study are limited to the current population and limited to the age range of 7-12 years in Tehran and do not represent all age groups.

Abstract

Using the general strategy map as a model or copying the strategy map of other countries has endangered the life of educational sport, this issue has caused the lack of accurate information about the capabilities and strategic goals of educational sports management, so in the present study The capabilities and strategic goals of educational sports management have been identified based on a balanced scorecard. The research method was qualitative content analysis. The statistical population included experts in the field of sports management and those in charge of educational sports. Sampling was continued purposefully until data saturation. The data collection process consisted of 12 semi-structured interviews and review of documents related to educational sports. In order to evaluate the quality and validity of the research results, Lincoln and Guba (1985) evaluation criteria including validity, transfer, reliability and verification criteria were considered. Data analysis was performed simultaneously with data collection and qualitative content analysis. In the open coding phase, 105 concepts, 18 sub-categories and finally 6 main categories (internal processes, customer, learning and growth, finance, employee satisfaction, environment and community) were extracted. According to the research findings, it seems that the mentioned processes are effective in explaining the comprehensive management system and improving the performance of educational sports by understanding its requirements and requirements.

Abstract

Talent management is one of the most important issues of human resource management in the world and it is still considered one of the important issues in many organizations and the importance of human resources is much higher than new technologies. There are more financial and material resources. The purpose of this research was to compile a talent management model in racquet sports with the foundational data theory approach. The present research method was qualitative and exploratory. The socio-statistics of this research were experts, professors and experts who deal with talent search in Iran's racket sports in the Ministry of Sports, Federations, Education and Culture, Academies and Sports Centers. Sampling Method It was non-probability sampling with purposeful selection. The sample size in this study was equal to 20 people. The measurement tool was an open interview, which was used to measure the reliability of the within-subject agreement method of two coders, based on which the obtained validity was equal to 0.78. Also, codings were analyzed based on three stages of open, central and selective coding. Based on data analysis, 159 primary concepts, 25 central codes and 5 selective codes were identified. Finally, it is suggested to improve the recruitment process in racquet sports by using the presented model, which will ultimately lead to the development of racquet sports in the country.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the effect of educational intervention of the concepts sport law on coaches’ attitude, knowledge and behavior. The method of this study was quasi-experimental, including two groups, and pretest-posttest, as well as follow-up study. Hence, 50 coaches from Eghlid, Fars province were selected by availability sampling method, then accidentally divided in two experimental and control groups. A researcher made educational protocol employed in this reseach for educating the concepts of sport law. Also, for measuring the efficiency of the educational protocol, a questionnaire for measuring the coaches’ attitude (researcher made), a questionnaire for measuring the knowledge of coaches (Mirsafian, 2018), as well as a researcher made check list employed for measuring the behavior of coaches. The Covariance analyzing test as well as Repeated Measure ANOVA employed for analyzing the data provided by research’s instruments. The results indicated that educational intervention of sport law concepts significantly effect on changing the coaches’ attitude, improve their knowledge and consequently, changing their behavior after participating in 8 educational sessions. Furthermore, effect of mentioned educational intervention was stable after 3 months from finishing the educational sessions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of the customer relationship management dimensions in promoting public sports from the perspective of sports managers in Kerman. The research method is descriptive correlation and the statistical population consists of all the managers of clubs and sports organizations in Kerman city. For data gathering, the questionnaires of the customer relationship management and the public sports are used. In order to analyze the data obtained for the research variables, the structural equation modeling the Smart PLS software is used. Findings indicated that three dimensions of customer relationship management namely Customer focus, relationship management and knowledge management has a direct and significant impact on promotion of public sports. According to the research results, it can be concluded that all managers of clubs and sports organizations governmental and nongovernmental need to do their utmost In order to communicate with the customer to encourage community participation and promote in public sports.
