Abstract

Measuring instrument of interpersonal and intrapersonal motor coordination has designed and built to provide information about the human movements’ coordination in reach of researchers, trainers and therapists. To evaluate the validation of this instrument with using of Vienna two hands coordination test and present research instrument were asked 28 participants to do the task of two hands, two feet and interpersonal movement coordination. Pearson correlation test showed that the present research instrument has high validation in motor coordination of two hands in total time mean factor of joystick (r =0/88), knob (r =0/96) and in error percentage mean factor of joystick (r =0/89) and knob (r =0/87). Also the results of Cronbach’s alpha showed that present research instrument has appropriate reliability in motor coordination of two hands in total time mean factor of joystick (r =0/89) and knob (r =0/97) and in error time percentage mean factor of joystick  (r =0/81) and knob (r =0/85). Also results indicated acceptable reliability in motor coordination of two feet in total time mean factor of pedals (r =0/90) and in error time percentage mean factor of pedals (r =0/83) and in interpersonal motor coordination in total time mean factor (r =0/91) and in error time percentage mean factor (r =0/80). Therefore using the present study instrument can be offered to sports science laboratories in all higher education institutions, federations and coaches, patients and rehabilitation centers, health and physiotherapy clinics.

Abstract

Sport psychology and its role is important effect on successful in physical education. One of following a field of sport psychology that affects performance, is self-efficacy. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of raising expected impact on performance and learning with an emphasis on self-efficacy and competence Put Golf is perceived. In terms of content this study was applicable. The experimental design was pretest-posttest with two large and small target groups. For this purpose, a sample of 34 students were divided into two groups (n=17), participated in this study. Students perform 5 blocks efforts in the pre-test, then the acquisition phase which contains 5 blocks of 10 trials and then the retention and transfer was performed in 12 attempts. After checking the normality of the data, independent t- test and analysis of variance (repeated measure ANOVA) was used. The findings of this study showed that learning putting golf balls between large and small target groups significantly different (p<0.05), But there isn’t significant difference between the two groups in efficacy and perceived competence. The results showed that enhanced expectancies significant impact on learning motor skills of golf putting golf in the retention and transfer test, while enhanced expectancies had no significant effect on self-efficacy and perceived competence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between movement motivation and motor development in infants with and without the experience of kindergarten. The population of this study included all parents with infant's boys with 10 to 11 month in Tehran. Among them, 150 infants with and 150 infants without the experience of kindergarten using the multi-stage random sampling the method was selected as the sample groups. Data collection tools included an infant movement motivation questionnaire and Peabody Developmental Motor Scale–Second Edition (PDMS-2), the data analysis was done using Pearson’s correlation coefficient, linear regression, and t-test in a significance level of p≤0.05. The results showed that there was a significant relationship (P=0/000), between movement motivation and motor development in infants with and without the experience of kindergarten. In the same context, a significant difference (P=0/000), was obtained in movement motivation and motor development between of infants with and without kindergarten experience and infants without the kindergarten experience, movement motivation, and motor development was higher. These results indicate that care of infants in kindergarten Centers may be due to the weakness of the programs and facilities have negative effects on of them movement motivation and motor development.

Abstract

In football industry, the sports managers should include meeting of demands and needs of spectators on their agenda. However, this study aimed to determine the needs of spectators in Iranian Football Premier League. For this purpose, Kansei engineering method, Kano model, and Taguchi method were used to collect data. First, the emotional needs (41 needs) of spectators were identified. Using Kano model, then, these emotional needs were included in a four-level questionnaire which was designed for spectators of Iranian Football Premier League; it was distributed among 400 individuals. In order to achieve optimal situation, 7 basic needs were considered in designing the experiments. These 7 needs were analyzed in a three-tier spectrum. The findings showed that Iran's sports authorities, especially the Football Federation, may improve the satisfaction and attendance of spectators in stadiums if they improve the physical and security conditions of football stadiums and remove the existing obstacles including presence of women and presence with family in stadiums. The football clubs may also help achieve this goal by employing qualified and popular players and coaches.

Abstract

Focus of Attention and Quiet Eye (QE) of the affecting variables on aiming task performance in recent decades have always been interesting for psychologist and sport science researchers. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of attention instructions on gaze behavior and accuracy of dart throwing of novice in low and high task load. In a semi-experimental design with repeated measurements, participant performed dart throwing under three attentional condition (internal, external and control) in two different task load (low and high). Result showed the external focus in high load task improved accuracy of dart throwing than internal focus; in the event that, for low load task there was no significant difference between the attentional conditions. Also, for QE none of attention, load task and their interaction effects was not significant. Results of research for performance supported the constrained action hypothesis; and in contrast to the conscious processing hypothesis. Also the result of gaze behavior suggests several interesting areas for future research.

Abstract

This paper was conducted with aim of analyze sport club manager’s compensation strategies based on their life cycle. This research is a mixed research with qualitative and quantitative approach. In the qualitative section data were gathered with semi-structured interview and in the quantitative section data were gathered with expert questionnaire. The statistical population is the sports clubs, and the sample members are selected from senior managers, public relations managers and media managers of these clubs. According to the purpose of the study, the sampling in this study is purposive and with regardeng to the principle of theoretical adequacy, the sample size was estimate. The research data were analyzed in qualitative section using Atlas.ti and in quantitative section data were analyzed by Delphi fuzzy method. The results indicate that Clubs that are in the start-up level, should use the combination of compensation for executives in the form of ownership rights, equity ownership plans and ownership shares. In addition, the results show that Clubs that are in the growth level, able to compensate their managers with using merit-based salaries, output-based remuneration, and success-based pay.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the performance of Isfahan Municipality Cultural and Social Sports Organization based on the CIpp model with the approach of citizenship sports.The research method was descriptive in nature and applied in terms of purpose. In the qualitative stage of the research, first the preliminary questions of the interview were created by studying the sources related to the research, collecting information and reviewing the research.The interviewees at this stage were experts in the field of civic sports who were purposefully selected.Then, Delphi method was used in four stages to correct and improve the interview questions. In the quantitative stage of the research, the questions of the questionnaire were extracted after evaluating the themes, in the form of 94 questions, and were implemented among 113 citizen sports experts. The results showed that all four dimensions of context, input, output and process in the evaluation of the performance of this organization are higher than the average level, but need to be improved and increased. Also, evaluation and feedback on the developed programs is necessary both during and after the implementation of the program, because performance evaluation was relatively effective in achieving the goals of this program.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to predict the individual's attitude through their beliefs about advertising by using sports. This research is practical and is of the correlation method which was carried out as a field study. The statistical population was the spectators present at Azadi Stadium and according to the content of Cochran sample, 342 of the spectators were randomly chosen and filled in the questionnaire of advertising through sport called pyun (2006). The result of the regression analysis revealed that all the components of belief including the product information, social role and image, pleasure, annoying, good for economy, materialism and falsity had the capability of predicting the individual's attitude toward advertising through sport. The component good for economy had the most effect and materialism had the least effect on the individual's attitude toward advertising through sports. According these results, it is we essential pay attention to the quality and price of the predicts. On the other hand, we should use the advertising which are according to the culture of each in order to be more effective and attract the individual's attitude toward advertising through sports.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and perfectionism, quality of coach–athlete relationship in elite material arts. Present study research method was descriptive– correlational, The statistical population included all the martial arts (Taekwondo, karate, judo, wushu and wrestling) present in Super league Competitions in 2017 and 300 male (60 Coaches and 240 Athletes) were participated and completed the Questionnaires of emotional intelligence, perfectionism and quality of coach–athlete relationship. The data was analyzed by Pearson correlation and multiple regression (Enter method) tests. The results revealed a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and self-oriented perfectionism with quality of coach–athlete relationship (p>0.01), In addition, Data analysis revealed that emotional intelligence and perfectionism predict 58 percent of quality of coach–athlete relationship variance, But this prediction was reversed with dimensions of other-oriented and socially prescribed perfectionism. (p>0.001). According to the findings, It seems that character of emotional intelligence and perfectionism in Coaches have an effective role in quality of coach–athlete relationship and the levels of quality of this relationship which elite material arts uses is correlated with these characteristics.

Abstract

ABSTRAC
Physical activity is related to health factors such as motor competence, health related  Physical fitness, perceived motor competence. The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of mediation of cardiovascular fitness, perceived motor competence in relation between actual  motor competence and physical activity of boys in middle and end childhood.  Research is a correlation type. 204 students (mean age 9.9 and standard deviation of 1/05) from the four Tehran schools participated in this study. The motor competence was measured using the Bruninks-Oseretsky-based product-oriented (BOT-2), perceived motor competence, and physical activity, using the PSDQ and the physical activity questionnaire for older children (PAQC), respectively. The 600 yard running / walking test was used to measure cardiovascular endurance.   Pearson's test results showed a moderate to weak relationship between all variables. Also, the results of regression path analysis indicated that perceived motor competence, not cardiovascular fitness, mediates the relationship between real motor competence and physical activity. Educational and practice strategies should target the development of fundament motor skills and perceived motor competence to increase the participation of male students in the physical activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a business model in sports academies from the perspective of experts of this field. The present study is based on the paradigm of interpretive research, in terms of practical purpose, qualitative research approach and data collection in the form of in-depth and semi-structured interviews. The statistical population of the study includes entrepreneurs, sports business owners, managers of sports academies, presidents of sports federations and managers of the National Olympic Academy. 15 people were selected as the sample size using targeted sampling strategy and snowball. Data analysis was performed using qualitative content analysis and open, pivotal and selective coding methods using Maxqda software version 18 in which 9 main components and 45 pivotal categories were discovered and counted. The reliability of the recoding of the interviews conducted in this study using Scott's formula is equal to 90%. Managers, presidents of sports federations and academies should be comprehensively acquainted with these categories and components so that they can design the components and elements of the sports academy business specific to their sport in accordance with the needs and characteristics of their business and based in that take the suitable action.

Abstract

Fans like to talk about their favorite team and players with others. Professional team fans use social media to learn more about teams, connect with other fans, follow teams and players, and build a fan community. Social media by creating a network of users has become a platform for researchers to study fan behavior. Given that members of the fan community interact with each other, their opinions on social media also has determined relation to each other. The present study to understand and discover the relationship between fans 'opinions of El Clásico, used the network approach. In this study, Facebook was selected as the research platform to analyze the media consumption of fans about the El Clásico in the 2017-18 season. Finally, fan comments were divided into 14 categories. The results showed that the three nodes of "references to the team", "references to the individual" and "references to the game" are the most important categories that have kept the network of dialogue between the fans dynamic. While these three nodes of "references to the team", "references to the individual" and "references to the game" are important structurally and network-wise , but from a behaviorism point of view, team identification plays a key role in creating such a network. This means that the underlying role of the "use of us and them" node in the network of opinions is certain.

Abstract

Introduction & Objective: Technical and tactical performance analysis of athletes is always considered to improve their performance and other athletes. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the technical and tactical performance profile of elite karate players in different weight groups. Tools and Methods: In this descriptive study, the functional profile of the winning and losing karate players in the league was evaluated. Data were collected using Kinovea software. Excel software was used for data analysis. The studied variables were attack tactics, counterattack, upper and lower limbs techniques and combined techniques. Results: The frequency of attacks was close at different weights. But the winners’ attacks were more effective. The use of single-handed techniques was more common. The winners gained the most from single-handed techniques. Of the total leg kicks by the winners, 10 percent resulted in points. Conclusion: According to the findings, there is a need for specific training programs for single hand techniques and counterattack tactics in further training. Simulating different periods in competition and working on specific tactics will help develop karate athletes.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of observational practice on anticipation and visual search behavior in handball players in handball defense positions. The participants were 23 male handball players aged 16-19 years, who were members of Isfahan national youth and Pishgaman team. The players viewed clips of handball defense positions using eye-tracking glasses. They verbally expressed their anticipation about the outcome of the ball position during the pre-test. The players were divided into two groups: gaze behavior, which was observed (observation of output clips of eye-tracking glasses) and observation group, which observed only handball clips. Then the two groups were retested after 10 sessions of 45 minutes. The results of repeated measures analysis of variance and Muchly test with sphiricity assumed illustrated that the anticipation accuracy and visual search behavior of the gaze behavior group in the post-test were significantly better than the observation group. Defending handball players in the 3×3 position compared to the other two positions (2 × 2, 1 × 1), focused on the background and kinematics of the attacking player to anticipate and identify the attacking player pattern.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to investigate Effect of self-regulation from biofeedback exercises on the learning of dart throwing skill under pressure conditions. Participants were 28 undergraduate male students of the University of Tehran who were selected in an accessible manner as they were right-handed and had no experience in dart throwing and working with biofeedback devices. These numbers were randomly divided into four groups of visual, auditory, combined and control biofeedback. The number of biofeedback training sessions was 4 sessions with pre-test, post-test and retention sessions in 4 weeks. The results of analysis of covariance and mixed analysis of variance with repeated measures showed that visual, auditory and combined biofeedback training had a significant effect on the learning of dart throwing skills under pressure (P <0/05). According to the research findings, it is suggested to use biofeedback of temperature and galvanic response of the skin, visually, audibly or in combination, to learn darts throwing skills and skills similar to and close to darts throwing skills, as well as feedback of biofeedback sessions. Prioritize the combination biofeedback to see the best results.

Abstract

Background and purpose: This study was conducted to determine Relationship between participation motivation and Social – Economic Status of youth in Tehran. Method: This study was cross-sectional and done by questionnaire. The analyses were based on data that collected from sports clubs in four Tehran regions (North, South, East and West), (n= 130) young people (65 male, 65 female) were selected randomly and completed the participation motivation questionnaire (PMQ) and socioeconomic status questionnaire. Result: results of Pearson’s correlation showed that there was a significant positive relationship between motivational component subscales of participation motivation in sport and socioeconomic status in young people (p ≤ 0.05). Conclusion: The present study determined there was a significant relationship between income statues, economic-class, parents’ education level and sport participation motivation.  The finding revealed that the families with high-and middle- economic class and income have a greater incentive to engage in physical activity. The education level of parents, especially fathers play an important role in encouraging their children to participate in physical activities.

Abstract

People need coordination to accomplish joint tasks and pursue the same goal. The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive mechanisms in interpersonal coordination among elite rope jumping players. The research strategy was descriptive and applied and the statistical community consisted of 24 elite rope jumping players (14 to 18 years old). Subjects practiced various rope jumping tasks (individual and joint rope jumping at the same or different distances with online landing) for eight weeks until they could do them properly and without online feedback. The researcher used a Vicon motion analysis device to record three-dimensional movements of players' feet and ropes whirling and examined spatial and temporal parameters. The results of independent t-test, repeated measures ANOVA and one-way ANOVA showed that people were similar each other in movement onset time, hand-foot deviation time, timing variation in rope whirling, and landing position (P> 0.05), while a significant difference was observed in their jump height and movement time. So, players simulate each other's movements to coordinate with each other in different tasks, and their efforts distribution doesn't related to task characteristics. In fact increasing difficulty as well demand of joint task, amount of interpersonal coordination and consequently prediction ability will increase.

Abstract

Using auditory concurrent feedback with the goal of gaze path learning is one of the novelty methods in the attention field. The present study aimed to determine the effect of bisensory feedback using eye movement sonification on the decision-making of the badminton clear shot direction. In a Semi experimental strategy, with pre-post design without a control group and clinical method, participants performed recognizing the direction of the shot under unisensory and bisensory training conditions. Response accuracy, response time, and fixation duration were measured in the pre-test, immediate retention, and delayed retention. The results showed that in the immediate and delayed retention, the bisensory group had higher response accuracy and shorter response time than the unisensory group. The bisensory group had a longer fixation duration in key areas than the unisensory group in both times. The use of auditory feedback can probably be considered as a way to improve decision-making skills at the novice level.

Abstract

 So far, there has been a lot of scattered research on various aspects of the benefits of physical activity for women in various disciplines, but there has been no coherent analysis and theorizing. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to identify, categorize and examine the types of benefits of physical activity for Iranian women at different stages of life and to theorize about the process and impact of experiencing the benefits of physical activity on primary motivations. The research method was Grounded Theory, systematic approach. Sampling was theoretical. Data analysis was performed through continuous "questioning" and "comparison". In-order-to achieve saturation while reviewing specialized texts, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 136 Iranian-women aged 7-78 who were regularly participate in physical-activity in addition to 17 mothers and 6 fathers. The findings of the present study show that the benefits of physical activity for Iranian women can be classified into six general categories: (1) "health development", (2) "motor development", (3) "socio-behavioral development", (4) "enrichment of leisure time", (5) "Beauty" and (6) "Prevention and Treatment". Findings also showed that experiencing the benefits of physical activity strongly influences the modulation of initial motivations and the formation of strong and lasting motivations. According to the research findings; Cultural-sports managers should include all the important benefits of physical activity experienced by women at different stages of life in the content of Iranian women's physical activity promotion programs and do not suffice to provide general and specialized intangible content.

Abstract

The literature on self-controlled motor learning includes efforts that compare a group of learners who have choices about some aspect of their practice environment with a group who are dependent on those choices. Therefore, several studies have shown that self-control practices have benefits. In the present study, using the self-control approach, the choice order during golf practices, the level of skill accuracy, autonomy, and self-efficacy were investigated. The present research is of a semi-experimental type and was carried out during the 24-hour follow-up period. Twenty-four beginner students were available and randomly placed in the experimental group (n=12) or yoked group (n=12). In the pre-test, the participants took the golf putting test. Then the yoked group used the practicum devices in the order of choice of the experimental group. On the first day, skill accuracy, autonomy, and self-efficacy were measured in the pre-test and acquisition, and then with the retention test. The results of the repeated Measurements analysis test showed that self-control has a significant effect on golf putting skill, autonomy, and self-efficacy. Therefore, a small choice such as the order of practice in the self-control approach can be effective on motor performance and learning, and the psychological components related to them.
