Abstract

Objective: Learning through mobile phone is a type of distance learning that takes place in many situations with social interaction and content through personal electronic devices. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the factors affecting the behavioral intention of learning graduate students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz through mobile phones.
Method: The current research is applied in terms of its purpose and survey in terms of its execution 
Findings: The results showed that all the structures of the theory of planned behavior and the technology acceptance model have an effect on the behavioral intention of the graduate students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz to learn through mobile phones.
Conclusion:  by considering the characteristics and needs of users and their applications in the virtual education system, buy or rent powerful servers for Providing virtual education services and taking into account the use of new educational technologies in evaluating the performance of faculty professors will improve the level of using educational systems while learning through mobile phones.

Abstract

Background and purpose: Business Information is among the important sources for companies, especially for those located in Science and Technology Park which intend to launch a technological business and enter the market. To this end, different aspects of business information behavior of the companies need to be investigated. The aim of this article is to study business information behavior of companies based in Khuzestan Science & Technology Park.

Methodology: This qualitative study was conducted based on grounded theory. Companies affiliated with Khouzestan Science and Technology Park formed our research population. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 14 companies.

Finding: The results show that the aims of business information seeking include: organizational goal completion and task fulfillment, updatedness, efficiency, competitiveness and preparation for difficult situations and problem solving. Furthermore, business information need includes knowledge of market, national and international policies, laws, financial information, information about products, information about management, as well as information management. Sources of business information were mass media, science and technology park, internet, educational courses, informal communication, and library and financial consultants.  However, barriers to business information seeking included lack of information seeking and information literacy skills, problems about information, technical infrastructure, personal factors, cultural, political and ethical problems, problems in receiving information from the science & technology park and organizational problems.

Conclusion: Companies based in science and technology parks are well-aware of the importance of business information. Moreover, their business information needs are in line with other researches. By identifying the relevant sources and obstacles, this paper can help to provide appropriate information services to these companies.

Abstract

Background and Aim: The purpose of this study was to compare the impact of text based indexing and folksonomy in image retrieval via Google search engine.
Methods: This study used experimental method. The sample is 30 images extracted from the book “Gray anatomy”. The research was carried out in 4 stages; in the first stage, images were uploaded to an “Instagram” account so the images are tagged with 600 contacts. In the second stage, the images were uploaded onto 2 blogs using text-based and folksonomy indexing, respectively. In the third stage, 118 medical experts were asked to find one of the images in Google’s image search engine. Finally, in the fourth stage, the rank of the retrieved images from the 2 blogs was reviewed.
Results: Based on the findings; in descriptive analysis, the scores of retrieved images was calculated and in the inferential analysis, independent Chi2 test was used to compare the search results of two blogs. The reported difference was significant.
Conclusion: The results showed that the folksonomy improves images’ retrieval by Google search engine compared to the text-based indexing.

Abstract

Objective: Health information on diseases could help prevent the spread and the treatment and is the most vital needs of people in daily life. One health issue that has plagued the world in recent years is the corona virus. Therefore, the main purpose of this study was to investigate the health information behavior of graduate students at Qom University.
Methodology: Applied descriptive survey method was used. Population was all 3000  graduate students at Qom University. Using Morgan table, sample of 300 students were seleted, out of which 200 studnts answered the questionnaires. Data was collected through the standard Lango questionnaire. Research hypotheses were scrutinized using independent t and one-way ANOVA. Age, gender, place of residence, income and information seeking behavior of graduate students  were investigated.
Findings: The most information sources were Internet, Social networks, TV and the family. while the least go to brochures and pamphlets. Althugh, graduate students could obtain corona information from social networks and Internet, nonetheless their active use of corona information is slightly more from traditional sources of television and radio. There was no significant relation of behavior variables in information retrieval, perception in information retrieval, interpersonal interaction in information retrieval, impact of information on disease, active retrieval of information and passive retrieval of information with regard to age, gender and place of residence of graduate students.
Conclusion: Results revealed that the students have health information literacy and could identify and use related health information. In spite of increasing use of new sources such as social networks and Internet, information obtained from traditional sources has been more trusted and used. Non of the variables of gender, age, income and place of residence had any effect on health information seeking behavior of students. All subjects had the same information seeking behavior.

Abstract

Purpose: Study aimed to identify the applications of data mining in the provision of services, collection and management of digital libraries.
Methodology: This is an applied study in terms of purpose and in terms of method is qualitative research that have been done by systematic review method. For this purpose, articles have been obtained by searching databases of Springer, Emerald, ProQuest, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Semantic Scholar.
Articles published between 2000 and 2021 have been scrutinized. The systematic review model of Kitchenham and Charter (2007) was surveyed. According to the inclusion criteria, 1296 articles have been extracted after initial refinement, and among them, 77 articles related to the subject have been identified by reviewing the titles of articles and entered the final review by reviewing the full text. In conclusion, 29 articles were chosen for final analysis. The Qualitative content- coding method was used for data analysis and qualitative analysis was performed by two coders. The agreement of the evaluators based on the formula of Miles and Haberman for the performed analyzes, 78.5 was obtained.
Findings: Based on the results of qualitative analysis, 74 basic, 13 organizing and 3 comprehensive themes of "digital services,” “digital library management" and "digital collection" have been identified, which in total define the application of data mining in digital libraries represented.
Conclusion: Using data mining techniques in digital libraries, a variety of information can be stored seamlessly in different classes so that the end user of the information could meet their information needs in the shortest possible time. On the other hand, libraries can provide more useful resources by analyzing their users' information interests, and this can be considered a turning point in situations where libraries are facing financial difficulties.

Abstract

purpose: consumer behavior in the field of e-commerce and web-based services has different dimensions, including psychological, cultural, economic, personality, etc. components. Since the e-commerce market is constantly growing, it creates a good development opportunity for businesses, so business opportunities should be more adapted to the characteristics and behavioral characteristics of consumers to better meet customer needs. fulfill and facilitate business success. The current research was conducted with the aim of presenting the pattern of consumer behavior in electronic commerce with an exploratory approach.
Methodology: In terms of its fundamental purpose, this research is a survey descriptive research that was conducted in a mixed exploratory manner.
Findings: The results showed that the model of consumer behavior in e-commerce includes: causal conditions, categories, platforms, intervening factors, strategies and consequences. Also, in the quantitative part, the results of the research indicated the approval of most of the components of the qualitative part of the research by the experts.
Conclusion: Examining patterns and models of consumer behavior in e-commerce is necessary for institutions, and in this regard, the results of this research model and other models presented in the field of study should be used in order to create fields for predicting consumer behavior.
