این تحقیق در پی بررسی اثر تغییر ترکیب صادرات واسطه‌ای و میزان کل صادرات واسطه‌ای بین-منطقه‏ای بر تولید بخش‌های مختلف استان گلستان و سایر مناطق کشور بر اساس مدل داده-ستانده دو منطقه‌ای می‌باشد. برای این منظور، ابتدا جداول‏ داده- ستانده دو منطقه‌ای برای هریک از این مناطق(استان گلستان و سایر مناطق کشور) برای سال‏های 1385 و 1389 تهیه شده و سپس با استفاده از تکنیک تحلیل تجزیه ساختاری (SDA) اثرات تغییر ترکیب صادرات و میزان کل صادرات بین منطقه ای بر تغییر تولید این مناطق مورد بررسی قرار می‌گیرد. نتایج حاصل از مدل در مورد استان گلستان نشان می‌دهد که کل صادرات محصولات واسطه‌ای استان گلستان به سایر مناطق کشور در دوره مورد مطالعه 09/349 میلیارد ریال کاهش یافته است که این امر موجب کاهش 76/335 میلیارد ریال تولید کل استان شده است. همچنین تغییر ترکیب صادرات استان گلستان به سایر مناطق کشور موجب افزایش 78/9 میلیارد ریال در تولید کل استان شده است.
