در همه فعالیت های ورزشی، توانایی هدایت چشم به مناطق مطلوب از بافت محیط، در زمان مناسب، برای رسیدن به سطح بالایی از خبرگی و عملکرد ضروری است. هدف از انجام این پژوهش، تعیین تغییرات ویژگی-های چشم آرام، طی اجرای یک مهارت هدف‌گیری پرتابی واکنش پذیر، تحت تقاضای مختلف محیطی بود که جهت شناسایی اثرات ادراکی-شناختی بر فرایندهای زیربنایی مربوط به عملکرد انجام گرفت. بدین منظور 8 ورزشکار مرد (28-22 سال) دارای حداقل 5 سال سابقه فعالیت ورزشی در رشته دارت؛ به صورت همتراز شده متقابل تحت چهار شرایط قید محیط به اجرای تکلیف هدف‌گیری پرتابی پرداختند. عوامل تقاضای محیط، شامل تعامل شرایط تنظیمی (ثابت / در حال حرکت) و تغییرپذیری بین کوششی (با / بدون تغییرپذیری)، چهار سطح مختلف محیطی را جهت ایجاد واکنش در حین اجرای مهارت هدف‌گیری پرتابی ایجاد نمود و ویژگی-های مربوط به رفتار خیرگی به طور مداوم در هر سناریو ثبت شد. در هر یک از قیود محیطی 10 کوشش 20 ثانیه ای گرفته شد. ویژگی های رفتار خیرگی با استفاده از دستگاه ردیابی حرکات چشم مدل Dikablis Professional Wireless ثبت و تحلیل آن با نرم افزار DLab، سیستم پردازش اطلاعات و با آزمون تحلیل واریانس با اندازه گیری مکرر انجام شد. نتایج نشان داد، تفاوت معنی داری بین میانگین نمرات چشم آرام در قیود مختلف محیطی وجود داشت (001/0P≤ ) سریع ترین آغاز چشم آرام در بافت ثابت بدون تغییرپذیری بین کوششی مشاهده شد و بافت های در حرکت بدون تغییر پذیری بین کوششی  و با تغییرپذیری بین کوششی نسبت به سایر بافت های محیطی به ترتیب از طولانی ترین طول دوره و پایان تثبیت برخوردار بودند. به طور کلی به نظر می رسد قیود محیطی می تواند اثر عمیقی بر ویژگی های چشم آرام داشته باشد که می تواند به عنوان عامل مهمی در یادگیری مهارت های حرکتی توسط مربیان درنظرگرفته شود.
