Abstract
Given the importance of emotional intelligence in mental health, the purpose of this study is meta-analysis of the studies which were conducted on the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health. Through meta-analysis method, this study integrates the results of various studies and then determines the effect size of the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health. To achieve this purpose, of 45 studies, 30 studies accepted methodologically, were selected and meta-analysis was done on them. Research tool for the study was meta-analysis checklist The present study is based on 4858 participants and 32 effect sizes.The findings indicates that in general, the effect size of emotional intelligence and mental health is 0/48. Furthermore, When emotional intelligence is evaluated as trait, it has stronger correlation with mental health(r=0/51) rather than when it is evaluated as ability(r=0/38).Therefore,according to the present study, it can be concluded that higher emotional intelligence has correlation with better mental health.

Abstract
Adolescence is one of the most challenging periods of human life. Personal, biological and psychological experiences cause extreme changes in this period of life. During these changes adolescences discover new and different behavioral and emotional stimuli for their adulthood. The main purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sensation seeking, decision-making styles and risky behaviors among the adolescents in Dezful city. Descriptive- correlational method was used in this study. 450 Dezful’s high school students (16.3 and 1.08 were the average age and standard deviation respectively) were selected through multi-stage random sampling. In this study, Young’s risky behaviors scale, Zuckerman sensation seeking scale (a 40 -item scale), and questionnaire of general decision making styles were used. Analysis of Pearson correlation coefficient test showed that there was significant positive relationship between the risky behavior and the total score of sensation seeking and its subscales. Also, there was significant positive relationship between the risky behavior and the intuitive and dependant decision-making styles, and there was negative relation between the risky behavior and rational decision-making style. Furthermore, the intuitive and immediate decision – making styles were positively in relationship with sensation seeking and were negatively in relationship with rational decision-making style. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that the sensation seeking, decision making, gender and age together can explain 40% of the changes of risky behaviors variance.

Abstract
The present study investigated the relationship between cognitive emotion regulation strategies and depression, anxiety and stress in students through using descriptive correlational research method. To do so , throughrandom cluster sampling, 235 students(102 boys and 133 girls) of Payame Noor University with the average age of 23/31 and a standard deviation of 2/53 were selected and then completed cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (CERQ) and depression, anxiety and stress scale (DASS-21). Data was analyzed by using multivariate analysis of variance and correlation matrix. Results indicated a negative relationship between depression and positive refocusing, between planning and positive reappraisal. Moreover, there was a positive relationship between depression, anxiety, stress and all of the maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies (other blame, self-blame, rumination, catastrophizing and acceptance). Among the components of cognitive emotion regulation strategies, there was no significant difference between male and female students, except rumination. There was also no difference between male and female students in depression, anxiety and stress. Considering the above mentioned results, it seems that cognitive emotion regulation training focused on positive refocusing, planning and positive reappraisal is very essential to enhance the physical, mental and social health of students

Abstract
The present study was intended to study the effectiveness of Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the quality of life in the older people suffering from Parkinson disease. The methodology of the study was a semi- experimental with pre- test and post- test design along with a control group selected from the population of old people suffering from Parkinson disease. Sample of the study included 40 individuals who were selected by availability sampling method then they were randomly divided into the experimental and control groups. The experimental group underwent the CBTO treatment for 10 sessions. Research tools of the study included demographic questionnaire and quality of life scale, prepared by WHO, that were administered in two stages, i.e. pre-test and post- test. Research findings showed that cognitive-behavioral therapy had an effect on the quality of life including physical health, psychological health, and social relations, but no significant difference was seen in the dimension of the life environment. Thus, it was concluded that it was necessary to make efforts to enhance the quality of life for the old people suffering from Parkinson disease and that CBTO treatment may cause the improvement of the quality of life in patients with Parkinson disease. Therefore, this method may be employed in the hospitals and asylums as a complementary treatment. Consequently, it is recommended to present cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other medical interventions as a part of treatment and medical care for the patients suffering from Parkinson disease.

Abstract
Purpose: there are several factors which mentioned in sexual health. In overall, biological, psychological and cultural factors effect on sexual health. The aim of this study was the investigation of predictive role of biological and psychological factors with the mediator role of cultural factors in sexual health. In this regard, direct and indirect effects of these variables were investigated to predict sexual health.
Method: the instruments of this study included ENRICH marital satisfaction questionnaire, Beck self-concept scale, Bem's gender schemas questionnaire, Sherer's self-efficacy questionnaire, Amz's Narcissistic personality inventory, quality of object relations inventory,Brief Index of Sexual Functioning for Women (BISF-W), and checklist of menopause symptoms, which performed on 307 women in Tehran between 1393-1394.
Findings: results suggest that cultural factors effect directly on sexual health. In addition, biological and psychological predict sexual health in direct and indirect (with the mediator role of cultural factors) way.
Conclusion: results show that this model is acceptable for explaining sexual health in menopausal women.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of motivational interviewing (MI) on physical and Mental Health Indicators in patients with essential hypertention. Subjects were first screened using the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Therefore, 26 hypertensive patients, by using convenient sampling method were selected and randomly divided into experimental and control group (13 patients in each group). The MI group were treated in 5 sessions and while the control group did not receive any treatment. This study was a semi-experimental study with a pretest, post-test and follow-up. Results showed that there were significant differences between two groups in psychological well-being and its subscales, cognitive fusion and systolic and diastolic blood pressure. So, motivational interviewing is an effective intervention in essential hypertensive patients.

Abstract
The purpose of is study, comparison the resiliency and health promoting lifestyle between thyroid dysfunction disease patients and healthy people. The method of present study is causal-comparative. The 200 patients (100 thyroid dysfunction patients and 100 healthy people) in endocrine clinics in Rasht city that was in 2017-2018. Tools for measuring the research variables were Resiliency (Connor-Davidson, 2003), health promoting lifestyle test (Walker,1987). Data were analyzed by multiple analysis of variance. The result showed that the relationship resiliency and health promoting lifestyle between thyroid dysfunction disease patients and healthy people is significant (P=0/001, β=0/22). The mean scores of patients with thyroid dysfunction in resiliency and health-promoting lifestyle and their components (except in stress management) is significantly lower than the healthy people (P<0.05). According to the study, of thyroid dysfunction disease with indicators of resiliency and health-promoting lifestyle was a significant relationship, It seems that the levels of resiliency and health-promoting lifestyle can be associated with the prevalence of thyroid dysfunction disease.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between disease control perception and risk perception with self-care behaviors in patients discharged from hospital due to COVID-19 in Bushehr Province. The statistical population of the present study includes all patients discharged from the hospital due to Covid-19 in Bushehr Province, which was estimated 167 people and the sample size was 120 people based on the Cochran's formula. The sampling method was voluntary and available. The research data were analyzed using the statistical software AMOS and using path analysis method. Findings indicated that the proposed model of the relationships between the mentioned variables has a favorable fit and all the paths of the proposed model are significant. Given the significant effect of control perception and risk perception on the prediction of people get infected COVID-19 and the possibility of manipulation and training these variables, the results of this study have applications to increase self-care behaviors and then reduce the risk of COVID-19 in people and these results can be used practically in ministries, offices, publications, etc. leading to reduce the wasted costs (living and financial) for COVID-19.

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to prepare a Persian version of the Dias, Compos, Almeida and Palha (2018) Mental Health Literacy Questionnaire (MHLQ) and to examine its psychometric properties. For this purpose, 346 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students of Shahroud University were selected in the academic year of 1398-99 through the available sampling. They completed the Persian version of the MHLQ (2018), Attitude Scale - Fischer and Farina (1995) - Short Form, questionnaire, and Health Anxiety inventory - Salkovskis & Warwick - Short Form (2002), and Beck Depression Questionnaire. The results of compound reliability for all subscales were more than 0.5, which indicates the desired reliability of the scale. CVR was more than 0.62 percent and the CVI was more than 0.75 percent, indicating the appropriate content validity of the scale. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor load of the items is more than 0.15 and all the routes from the items to the variable hidden at the level. 0.5 were significant and the scale had a good construct validity. An examination of the validity of the structure using CFA showed that the scale has a factor structure consisting of 4 subscales. The study of validity at the same time as calculating the correlation of this scale with the scale of attitude with the help of psychological psychologists - Fisher and Farina (1995) short form, Health Anxiety Questionnaire - Salkoskis and Varvik short form (2002), indicates a positive relationship between scale scores. The results indicate that the mental health literacy questionnaire is a valid and appropriate tool for use in Iranian society.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate psychometric properties of Child Sexual Abuse and Gender Identity/Gender Dysphoria questionnaire in adolescents with mild intellectually disabled and with normal intelligence in Yazd. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study. The statistical population consisted of all boys and girls with mild intellectually disabled and with normal intelligence from public schools in the city of Yazd, Iran. Using multistage cluster sampling, 300 girls and boys aged 12-18 years who were selected. The tools were GIDYQ–AA and QCSA questionnaire. According to the results obtained, all correlation coefficients of the GIDYQ–AA and QCSA Questionnaire with the total score and subscales were significant for both groups (p<0.01). Cronbach's alpha coefficients calculated for the whole scale of sexual identity for intellectually disabled adolescents, 0.91, with normal IQ, 0.93 and its subscales and Cronbach's alpha coefficient in relation to the total scale of sexual abuse for intellectually disabled adolescent, 0.94, with normal IQ adolescent, 0.85 and its components separately, show the internal consistency of both questionnaires. Overall, the results showed that the scales of Child Sexual Abuse and Gender Identity/Gender Dysphoria questionnaire has a desirable and appropriate validity, reliability and it can be used for mild intellectually disabled and normal intelligence teenagers.

Abstract
The aim of present study is determining the fit of the obsessive beliefs model based on social perception, theory of mind or mentalization, and empathy with the mediation of emotional regulation in a non-clinical population. The sample consisted of 400 adults aged 25 to 50 in Tehran selected by using the convenience sampling method. Data collection tools included OBQ Obsessive Beliefs Questionnaire, the Emotion Recognition Task (ERT), Baron and Cohen’s (2001) Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test, Baron-Cohen and Wheelwright's Empathy Quotient Scale (2004), and Kraaij and Garnefski's Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (2019). According to the results, the exogenous variables of social perception and empathy along with the mediator variable "positive emotion regulation strategies and negative emotion regulation strategies" had a significant effect on the criterion variable i.e. obsessive beliefs. Thus, social perception, empathy and positive emotion regulation strategies were able to predict obsessive beliefs. Among the path coefficients between research variables, the coefficients of the exogenous variable of mentalization on the criterion variable (obsessive beliefs) and negative emotional regulation strategies (as a mediating variable) had no significant effect. These findings have many practical implications both for prevention and providing more comprehensive and better treatments for obsessions.

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness and schema therapy on mental rumination and social anxiety of women with practical obsessive-compulsive symptoms. The current research method was semi-experimental with pre-test, post-test and follow-up. The statistical population of the research included all women with obsessive-compulsive disorder who referred to the counseling centers of Mashhad in 1402, based on the entry and exit criteria, 48 people were selected as a sample using the purposeful-available sampling method and randomly divided into two experimental groups. and a control group were assigned. Subjects were evaluated using Hoeksma and Maro (1991) rumination questionnaires and Wells' (1994) social anxiety questionnaires in the pre-test, post-test and follow-up stages. The results of mixed analysis of variance showed that the difference Significance between intervention groups with control in mental rumination and social anxiety of women with obsessive compulsive symptoms, the presence of medication, cognitive therapy based on mindfulness and schema therapy has led to the reduction of mental rumination and social anxiety. Also, schema therapy is more effective than cognitive therapy based on mindfulness in mental rumination.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of the mindful parenting training package on improving the parent-child relationship, parenting stress, and feelings of loneliness. The research method was practical in terms of purpose and quasi-experimental in terms of data collection method. The statistical population included all parents referring to psychology and counseling clinics in Shiraz, as well as psychologists and specialists in the field of working with children. Among them, 30 people who visited Aram counseling clinic were selected by available sampling method, then they were randomly replaced in two control and experimental groups (15 people each). The data collection tools were Gerard's Parent-Child Relationship Tension Questionnaire, the Abdin Parenting Stress Questionnaire, and Russell et al.'s Loneliness Scale. In order to analyze the data in the quantitative part of the descriptive statistical indicators such as frequency, mean and standard deviation and in order to generalize the findings from inferential statistics, the analysis of covariance test was used. Finally, the conclusion has been reached that the mindful parenting training package has an effect on improving the parent-child relationship, the mindful parenting training package has an effect on reducing parenting stress in mothers, and the mindful parenting training package has an effect on Reducing the feeling of loneliness in mothers has an effect.

Abstract
The present study aimed to comparison the effectiveness of cognitive therapy based on mindfulness and schema therapy on emotional regulation and distress tolerance of women with obsessive-compulsive symptoms. The present research method was semi-experimental with pretest, posttest and follow-up. The statistical population of the study included all women with obsessive-compulsive disorder who referred to the counseling centers of Mashhad in 2023-2024. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 48 people were selected by convenience sampling and randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group. The participants were evaluated using the emotion regulation questionnaire (Gross & John, 2003) and distress tolerance scale in the pretest, posttest and follow-up. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26 software and using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of and analysis of variance with repeated measures showed that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in emotion regulation and distress tolerance (P<0.05). Cognitive therapy based on mindfulness and schema therapy has led to improved emotion regulation and increased distress tolerance. Cognitive therapy based on mindfulness is more effective than schema therapy in improving emotion regulation.

Abstract
Mindful parenting is a new application of mindfulness that aims to improve parenting by promoting parental attention, increasing awareness of parenting stress, and reducing parental reactivity. The purpose of this study was to identify the components of mindful parenting. The research method was qualitative and the strategy was thematic analysis. The research environment included all parents who referred to psychology and counseling clinics in Shiraz, as well as psychologists and specialists in the field of working with children. Using the available sampling method and semi-structured interviews, a total of 12 people were selected. After collecting the data, analysis and coding were performed. The results showed that the components of mindful parenting include: appropriate behavior towards the child, age and capacity of the child, problem-solving efforts, child-like role model, leveling with the child, deep attention to interaction with the child, self-regulation, preventing judgment of the child, promoting emotional intelligence, empathy with the child, and forgiveness.
