Abstract
The purpose of this article was studied of the efficacy of transactional analysis group therapy upon improving problem-solving skills. This study was experimental with pretest-posttest design. Thirty clients who were referring to the Ferdowsi University Counseling and Psychology Clinic were chose based on screening method. In addition, were randomly divided two equal groups (15 participants): experimental and control groups. Problem-solving questionnaire was used collect data as well as the experimental intervention was TA group therapy that was administrated during two hours and weekly. For data analysis in the descriptive level mean and standard deviation were used and covariate method was used at the inference level (ANCOVA). The results suggest that the problem-solving skills in the experimental group significantly increased. Moreover, by the increase in subscales creative, confidence, control, and approach styles were observed. It concluded that the method of TA group therapy is effective and useful strategy in improving problem-solving skills.

Abstract
Ulcerative Colitis is a type of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases that depression is one of the most common psychological disorders in these patients. The aim of this study was to compare the characteristics associated with the disease including the severity and complications of the disease and cognitive emotion regulation strategies in patients with ulcerative colitis with and without depressive symptoms. In this case-control study, 272 patients with ulcerative colitis were selected by purposive sampling and based on the scores of Beck-2 Depression Inventory, they were assigned into two groups of patients with depressive symptoms and patients without depressive symptoms. Our tools include demographic questionnaire, Simple Clinical Colits Activity Index, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire. Results revealed that UC patients with depressive symptoms experience more severe symptoms of UC and more complications related to this disease, including perianal problems than UC patients without depressive symptoms. There was also a significant difference between the two groups in all aspects of cognitive strategies for emotion regulation. According to the results, it can be said that depression and cognitive emotion regulation strategies are among the components related to physical symptoms and mental health of patients with ulcerative colitis. |

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of schema therapy and stress reduction based on mindfulness on emotional dyslexia, self-control and psychological well-being in Tehran. This research was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test waiting list group design. The statistical population included all women affected by domestic violence who referred to Menda Ara Psychology Clinic in 1402. In this study, 45 eligible patients were selected and the participants were randomly divided into three groups: behavioral therapy counseling (15 people), mindfulness-based stress reduction group (15 people) and control group (15 people). Strategies methods and techniques were taught to the groups for 8 sessions of 90 minutes. The groups were asked to take the Toronto Ataxia Questionnaire; Answer Tanji's self-control questionnaire and Rif's psychological well-being questionnaire. The results of the research showed that the experimental group of schema therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction compared to the control group was able to more effectively change the scores of ataxia, self-control and psychological well-being at the level of P<0.001. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in reducing emotional dyslexia, and increasing self-control and psychological well-being. Conclusion: The results showed that the use of schema therapy approaches and stress reduction based on mindfulness increases the self-control and psychological well-being of women affected by domestic violence and reduces their emotional ataxia. Therefore, schema therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction approaches are recommended for women affected by domestic violence to increase self-control and psychological well-being and reduce emotional ataxia.
