Abstract
This study has been carried out with the aim of studying and recognizing the role of attachment to God in Resilience and mental health of the parents of trainable mentally retarded children. In this descriptive, correlational research performed in 2010, 296 parents of trainable mentally retarded children were selected based on Morgan table and through stratified random sampling from the desired population and were then investigated. To collect the data three questionnaires were used: attachment to God, resiliency and checklist of behavioral signs. Analysis of the data through correlation coefficient and regression analysis showed that there was a positive meaningful relationship between secure attachment to God and resilience and mental health. Furthermore, there was a significant negative relationship between anxious, inevitable attachment to God and resilience and mental health. Also the result of regression analysis showed that the variable secure attachment to God can explain 70 percent of the variable resilience. Secure attachment to God had a significant positive relationship with resilience and mental health, and anxious and inevitable attachment to God had a significant negative relationship with resilience and mental health. Therefore it is likely to improve the individuals’ mental health by changing the quality of their attachment to God.

Abstract
The aim of this research was to investigate the Factor Structure and Psychometric Properties of the Persian version of State Adult Attachment Scale (SAAS). Using stratified random sampling method, 321 students (148 male and 173 female students) from Shiraz University were selected. Participants completed Persian version of State Adult Attachment Scale (SAAS), revised version of the adult attachment scale (RAAS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI–II) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). The construct validity of the Persian version of State Adult Attachment Scale (SAAS) was assessed via factor analysis and internal correlations. Also, Concurrent validity coefficients of this scale were calculated based on the correlations of this scale with the revised version of the adult attachment scale (RAAS), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI–II) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) scores. Moreover, using Cronbach’s Alpha the reliability of the Persian version of State Adult Attachment Scale (SAAS) was assessed. Principal component analysis with Varimax-rotation showed the three factors including Secure, anxious and avoidant attachments which were in accordance with factor structure of SAAM in major population. Result of internal correlations and correlations with BAI, BDI-II and RASS, revealed good construct and Convergent validity. Finally, reliability of these subscales were reached between 0/72 - 0/84 according to the Cronbach’s Alpha. According to the results of this study, SAAM can be used for the Iranian population in clinical and research fields as a reliable and valid scale.

Abstract
This
study was conducted to examine the relationship between meta cognitive beliefs
and female students’ test anxiety coping styles by considering the role of ambivalent attachment. In a correlative study, 202 female students in the third grade of Yazd’s
middle school were selected by random cluster sampling and then completed the
Spielberger Anxiety questionnaire, Meta cognitive Beliefs
Questionnaire and Collins and Raid attachment questionnaire. Pearson's correlation test and regression
analysis were used to analyze the data. The present study showed that there was a positive relationship between
test anxiety and cognitive beliefs, avoidant coping style, emotional-based coping style and ambivalent attachment. Also there was direct and significant relationship between meta cognitive beliefs and
avoidant coping style, issue-oriented
copying style, emotional-based coping style and ambivalent
attachment. Emotional coping styles were also
positively and significantly oriented with ambivalent attachment. Results of the step by step regression analysis
showed that meta cognitive beliefs explained 27% of the variance the test anxiety by
themselves, while the coping style along with meta cognitive
beliefs explained approximately 32% of the variance of test anxiety and if
ambivalent attachment added to meta cognitive beliefs and
coping style, 34% of the variance of test anxiety can be explained
approximately. Due to the effectiveness of the proper use of coping styles in dealing with the test anxiety, the
necessary trainings in this area can prevent
the students from being challenged by the test anxiety which could have many
negative effects on their performance. Also parents as
those having a role in the formation of their children’s attachment should
undergo necessary training.

Abstract
The aim of the this research was to present a causal model for explaining hope through using Structural Equation Modeling in a sample of Iranian University students. Therefore, a sample of 379 students were selected via multiple stage sampling method from Hamadan university and they responded to Sympson's Hope Scale, Sherer self-efficacy scale, adult attachment style scale, multidimensional perceived social support, life regard index (Meaningful life) and goal orientation questionnaire. Before fitting the basic model, psychometric properties of the tools were investigated through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. In the designed model, attachment styles, Meaningful life and social support were considered as the exogenous latent variables (independent variables), self-efficacy and mastery goal orientation as the mediator latent variables, and hope as the endogenous latent variable (dependent variable). Results indicated that theoretical model was fit with the data. Also the results showed that the social support and Meaningful life were directly and indirectly, and secure attachment was directly in a significant relationship with the hope. Furthermore, avoidance attachment was directly in a significant relationship with the hope through self-efficacy mediator variable. All the variables proposed to explain the hope could explain 0.46 percent of its variance.

Abstract
The present research has been conducted to study the diagnostic role of autobiographical memory, attachment and identity in the patients with the post-traumatic stress and generalized anxiety disorders. The selected samples in this causal-comparative study included 24 patients suffering from the post-traumatic stress disorder, 20 suffering from the generalized anxiety disorder and 32 normal people in similar ages and social conditions. They were tested and interviewed during two sessions after the researcher has explained them the necessary details and have got their consent. Beck’s depression inventory, Beck’s anxiety inventory, the revised event-effect scale, the attachment scale, the identity assessment scale, the autobiographical memory interview and the autobiographical memory test were used to achieve the goal of this research. The results revealed that healthy people’s performance was better than the performance of those suffering from PTSD in all the subscales of autobiographical memory in the three different periods of childhood, adulthood and the recent past and both in the semantic and episodic sections. Furthermore, the results of the autobiographical memory test indicated a reduction in PTSD suffering patients’ specific memory in comparison to the people in the normal group. Also GAD suffering people’s performance was better than that of PTSD suffering ones only in the subscale of adulthood events. The coupled comparison of the groups showed that the average secure attachment style in the healthy group was significantly higher than that of the people in the GAD group however, the average score is lower in this group than the other two patient ones in terms of insecure anxiety. The analytical-diagnostic results also showed that 69.7 percent of people in these three groups have been accurately placed in their groups.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between attachment styles, ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and Alexithymia. In the academic year 2012-2013, 300 female high school students of Avaj city participated in this study and they completed Attachment Style, Ambivalence over Emotional Expressiveness questionnaire and Toronto Alexithymia Scale. Results showed that there was a negative significant relationship between Alexithymia and secure attachment style and avoidant attachment style and that there was a positive relationship between Alexithymia and anxiety attachment style and ambivalence over emotional expressiveness. Ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and anxiety attachment style were predicators of difficult changes in identifying the emotion and Ambivalence over expressiveness and secure attachment style was predicator of the variance of difficulty in describing the emotion. 11% of the externally oriented thinking variance was explained by Ambivalence over emotional expressiveness and anxiety attachment style. Also 21% of the Alexithymia variance was explained by Ambivalence, anxiety and secure attachment styles. In order to prevent Alexithymia, in addition to strengthening the safety features of the attachment, it is needed to enhance the ability to regulate the emotions to overcome the ambivalence over emotional expressiveness.

Abstract
This study aimed at predicting the tendency to drug abuse based on personality traits, alexithymia, attachment styles and behavioral inhibition/activation systems. In
a sample of 345 students, selected from the students of Islamic Azad University of Andimeshk, khozestan through stage random sampling method, the model for the path of drug abuse was investigated. Then each subject was asked to complete five questionnaires including PS (APS), behavioral inhibition and activation system scale (BIS/BAS), short form NEO Personality Inventory (NEOPI- FF) ,Toronto Alexithymia Scale(TAS-20) attachment adult scale(RASS).The results showed that the predicting capacity of inhibition /activation system changed when the mediating variables were included. This indicated the mediating role of neuroticism, extraversion, agreeability, responsibility and avoidance/ ambivalence attachment styles and alexithymia in the behavioral
inhibition/activation systems and tendency to drug abuse. Behavioral activation system lead to the reduction of the tendency to drug abuse and behavioral inhibition system lead to the increase of the tendency to drug abuse. Neuroticism and ambivalent/avoidance attachment style, and alexithymia were the mechanisms reducing or increasing the effect of behavioral inhibition/activation systems on the tendency to drug abuse.

Abstract
Feelings of shame and guilt are the most important moral emotions that play an important role in the regulation of social and moral behaviors. Therefore, identifying the antecedent factors of these emotions is essential. Therefore, the present study investigated the relationship between the components of attachment and feelings of guilt and shame in a causal model. In this regard, the components of attachment to parents and peers were considered as independent variable and feelings of guilt and shame as dependent variable. Participants of the study included 398 (218 female and180 male) fourth year high school students of Shiraz city who were selected through multistage cluster sampling method. Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (Armsden and Greenberg) and Guilt and Shame Proneness Scale (Cohen et al) were used to measure the research variables. Factor analysis was used to determine the validity of the measurement tools and their reliability was examined by Cronbach alpha coefficient. Validity and reliability of the scales were acceptable. Results revealed that components of attachment (to parents and peers) predicted feeling of shame negatively and feeling of guilt positively. Moreover, results of diagram comparing boys and girls confirmed the moderating role of gender. Results showed that in the group of girls, in contrast to total results, attachment to peers predicted feeling of shame positively. Overall, findings provided a good evidence in support of the role of emotional relationships in the formation of moral and social emotions in children.

Abstract
With the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic disease and the social and economic consequences of this pandemic, volunteering and helping activities especially for needy people and the society in crisis developed. The aim of this study was to explore the role of attachment styles, empathy and self-compassion in predicting attitude toward helping during Covid-19 Outbreak in Iranian society. The present study conducted in April and May 2020 in Iran. The study sample (n=348) selected by convenient sampling method. Instruments of this study were the adult attachment scale, self-compassion scale, basic empathy scale, and helping attitude scale. Findings showed that participation of women; employed ones and the 25-35 year old age group were more than men, unemployed ones and other age group. There was significant difference between volunteer and non-volunteer groups in helping attitude, self-judgment, isolation, mindfulness, over-identification and secure attachment style. Correlation coefficients indicated that self-kindness; common humanity, isolation, mindfulness, cognitive empathy and secure attachment had positive significant correlation with helping attitude. In addition, anxious attachment negatively associated with helping attitude. Regression analysis indicated that cognitive empathy, emotional empathy, secure attachment style and mindfulness predicted helping attitude. It can conclude that volunteers for community services during COVID-19 outbreak had positive attitude toward helping and had more secure attachment styles and higher level of self-compassion in comparison to non-volunteers. It seems having strong empathy, secure attachment style and being mindful, are psychological prerequisites for having positive volunteering and helping attitudes. |

Abstract
The aim of this study was to present an exploratory model to express the relationships between a set of factors including personality factors, attachment styles, control source, coping strategies and perceived stress and disease perception in patients with hemophilia, emphasizing the mediating role of social exchange styles. The present study is a correlational study based on path analysis. In order to conduct the study, 450 patients from the Hemophilia Support Centre in Isfahan were randomly selected. The instruments used in this study included the Neo Five Personality Factor Questionnaire, the Hazen and Shaver Attachment Styles Scale, the Rutter Control Scale, the Andler and Parker Stress Coping Questionnaire, the Cohen Perceived Stress Questionnaire, the Disease Perception Questionnaire and the Libman Social Learning Exchange Questionnaire. The results indicated a linear relationship between a group of factors such as neurotic personality traits, responsibility, extraversion and flexibility, two coping styles (emotion-oriented, problem-oriented and avoidance) and a secure attachment style and disease perception. The results also showed personality traits (neuroticism, extraversion, pleasantness, flexibility and responsibility), coping styles (avoidance and emotion-oriented), attachment style (safe and unsafe ambivalent) and source of control are related to the perception of disease through the mediating role of social exchange style fairness. Therefore, in order to provide measures to improve the perception of patients with hemophilia, it is necessary to pay special attention to personality traits, coping styles, attachment style, source of control and perceived stress in addition to fair social exchange styles.

Abstract
This study has been aimed to investigate the mediating role of feelings of shame and guilt in the relationship of the attachment styles and covert relational aggression (CRA) in marriage. The present study is a correlational study as a type of structural equation modeling (SEM). The statistical population consisted of 320 married couples collected by convenience sampling in Birjand Collected data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and SEM methods. The results of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between research variables. Testing the conceptual model showed that feelings of shame and guilt had a significant mediating role in the relationship between anxiety attachment style and CRA (love withdrawal and social sabotage). According to the results, anxious attachment style has more effect on feelings of shame and guilt. The results indicated the effective role of secure attachment styles, anxiety and avoidance on love withdrawal. Feelings of shame had a significant positive relationship with both CRA and feelings of guilt had a significant relationship only with social sabotage. The results of the mediator role also showed a significant role of shame and guilt in the relationship between anxiety attachment style and CRA (love withdrawal and social sabotage).

Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of predicting the components of chronic pain based on insecure attachment style, mentalization and emotional regulation with a cross-sectional descriptive design and correlational method and the statistical population includes all patients with chronic pain who were referred the Yalda Clinic of Imam Khomeini Hospital in Tehran from April to August 2020. The research sample consisted of 339 people who were selected by available sampling method and answered the Chronic Pain, adult attachment, mentalization and difficulty in emotion regulation questionnaires. The effect of predictors of difficulties in emotion regulation, mentalization and insecure attachments on pain inability indicates a positive effect of difficulties in emotion regulation (β =0.52) and anxiety insecure attachment (β =0.30) at a significance level of less than 0.05 (Gives p-value (<0.001) and (p-value =0.001). In the study of pain intensity, difficulties in emotion regulation with (β =0.53) and avoidant insecure attachment with (β =0.13) with (p-value <0.001) and (p-value =0.01) indicates significance at the significance level less than 0.05 with a positive value of these two predictor variables. Using these findings, effective measures can be taken to improve and enhance the psychological health of patients with chronic pain.

Abstract
One of the main challenges in treating chronic disease is patients' adherence to treatment instructions. The aim of this study was to determine the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between attachment styles and treatment adherence in patients with chronic disease. The research design was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population included all patients with diabetes and hypertension in Guilan province in 2020. A sample of 399 people were selected by purposive sampling method. Data were collected through the Collins and Reed's Adult Attachment Scale (RAAS), the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC), and the Modanloo Adherence to Treatment Questionnaire. Data processing was performed using path analysis technique in AMOS-24 software setting and bootstrap analysis in Macro program of Preacher and Hayes (2008). There was a significant direct relationship between adherence to treatment with resilience and secure and avoidant attachment style(p<0.01). However, there was no relationship between adherence to treatment and ambivalent attachment(p>0.05). The fit of the mediator model was improved after deleting the two non-significant paths and it was obtained a good fit by releasing the covariance error between the ambivalent attachment and the secure and avoidant attachment (CFI=1.00, RMSEA=0.086). Bootstrap analysis revealed that resilience mediates the associations between endogenous and exogenous variables. The coefficient of determination in the final model demonstrated that all exogenous and mediating variables predict 21% of the changes in the adherence to treatment. Resilience and attachment pattern are important in patients' adherence to the treatment procedure and it is suggested that skills and strategies for coping with the disease stress and increasing the capacity to adaptive coping to life-threatening conditions be included in the treatment program of patients with chronic diseases. |

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of metacognition in the relationship between attachment styles and online gambling addiction in adolescents. The method of the present study was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population was all male adolescents in district one of Tehran, from which a sample of 234 people were selected by convenience sampling method. The research instruments were Wells Metacognitive Beliefs Questionnaire,Wang and Chang online game addiction, and Collins and Reed attachment style. Relationships between variables were performed by Pearson correlation test and structural equation modeling test using partial least squares method. Pearson correlation test showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between secure attachment with metacognition and online gambling addiction and between positive avoidance and anxiety with metacognition and online gambling addiction and a positive and significant relationship between metacognition and online gambling addiction (0.05>P)existed. It also clarified the indirect relationship between the dimensions of attachment and online gambling addiction through metacognition and showed that metacognition plays a mediating role in the relationship between the dimensions of attachment and online gambling addiction. It is suggested that psychologists emphasize the role of attachment and metacognition dimensions for preventive interventions and awareness-raising for families and schools.

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the prediction model students' addiction tendencies based on insecure attachment styles with the mediation coping styles. The research method was descriptive and structural equation modeling. The statistical population in this research included undergraduate students of Payam Noor Qom University in 1400, from whom 285 people were selected as a sample using non-probability sampling method. The research tools included the Revised Attachment Styles Questionnaire (Collins and Reed, 1990), Coping Styles Questionnaire (Lazarus and Folkman, 1980) and Addiction Tendency Scale (Wade and Bopper, 1992). The results of the conceptual model test showed that the fit indices of the research model are in a favorable condition. Insecure attachment style and tendency to use drugs had a direct and significant relationship (P≤0.005). Also, insecure attachment style through coping styles had significant indirect effects on students' tendency to use drugs (P≤0.005). The findings of the research indicated the appropriate fit of the conceptual model of the research. Based on this, in addiction treatment clinics, it is necessary to pay attention to attachment styles and coping styles to reduce the level of addiction tendency.

Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the mediating role of self-regulation strategies (self-restraint and coherent self-knowledge) in the relationship between attachment styles and the quality of interpersonal relationships. The method of the current research was correlation of the structural equation modeling type. The statistical population of this research included all students of Azad universities who were referred to the counseling centers of Azad colleges in Tehran with a major complaint in the field of interpersonal relations in 1402. According to Klein's formula, 400 people were selected through convenience sampling and were asked to complete questionnaires about Ghorbani's Cohesive Self-knowledge (2008), Tanjani's short form of self-regulation (2004), Hazen and Shaver's attachment (1987), and the quality of interpersonal relationships by Pierce (1991). The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. The results of Pearson correlation and path analysis showed that self-regulation can mediate the relationship between attachment styles and the quality of interpersonal relationships. According to the research results, insecure attachment is associated with a decrease in the quality of interpersonal relationships. Therefore, what helps a person improve the quality of interpersonal relationships is having a suitable intrapsychic capacity, enabling them to return to balance faster and with fewer complications while maintaining the order of their intrapsychic organization. Implicitly, it can be suggested that based on the model of self-regulation, having coherent management of one's inner psychological organization, in cognition, emotion, and behavior, can help a person have optimal tolerance capacity in interpersonal problems.
